Big Lots
« on: October 07, 2007, 09:52:05 PM »
I went to Big Lots for the first time on a friends recommendation, boy am I happy I did! I found a bunch of cheap DVDs!  :yahoo: All of them were blind buys, except for True Lies, but for the price it's worth a shot.

$2:
Dreamer
Fatal Love
Our Sons
Silent Hill
Stay

$4:
The Core
The Doors: 2-Disc Special Edition
Eddie Murphy's Raw
John Carpenter's Vampires
True Lies

$7.50:
Darkman Trilogy

Oooo...a thumb's up from Pete...now I'm really excited! I didn't even know Big Lots sold DVDs. They had a couple of hundred DVDs but most were children's movies or stuff that didn't sound interesting. I will be going there again because I understand they get new things in quite frequently.

LOL... well don't get too excited... I haven't seen them all.. but...

Silent Hill - Weird but I enjoyed it. Must pay strict attention while watching... but for $2 can't beat it!
The Core - I liked it... of course I always liked the natural disaster type movies.
Eddie Murphy's Raw - I haven't seen in years... but always good to have some stand-up in your collection!
John Carpenter's Vampires - one of my favorites! :)
Darkman Trilogy - a good series... though wouldn't say the best out there. I have all 3... but not in a trilogy set. Definitely worth the price paid!  :)

yeah... I wouldn't mind stopping by that store again next time I go shopping to see if anything has been added. I am always hearing about these great DVD deals there... but every time I go... ours has maybe 10 to 20 and nothing worth mentioning.
