It's hard to come up with words.

Don't worry... I'm not expecting any...... it's just..... what I would give just to have someone here with me ..................

What we can't do in the flesh, we will do as best we can in spirit. In the last 2 decades, I've lost a younger brother, older sister and both parents. Thank God I still have my younger sister. While I can't exactly imagine what you are going through, I can at least imagine. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

And I raise a hearty glass of strong spirits to honor the memory of your beloved Grandmother, may she live long and strong in your heart and soul.

Boy, I never thought it'd be that hard when I said yes......

My uncles and aunts have all sent me some pictures of my grandmother, and I have the task to browse through them, and crop out some stuff, adjust colors and contrast and stuff like that...

Do you know how hard it is to know if the colors of the picture are ok with tearful eyes? ....

You are much stronger then I... When my wife passed away there was no way I was able to go through her stuff that soon afterward. It has been almost 13 years now that she has been gone and I still have some trouble with the idea. We been cleaning out our storage shed the last couple days... and just seeing the boxes of her stuff sitting there waiting for me to go through and I am dreading the idea. So I can not imagine how you are getting through something like this so soon!

All I can say is do your best to stay strong. I wish I had better advice then that for you.

Yeah, I know, it's really hard. But then, I had no choice. They needed it today at the latest for the newspaper, and for the service, so no matter what, someone had to do it, and it would seem I'm the only one who knows how to manipulate pictures correctly, so... But it's done now, and it's made me discover some very good pictures of her, and also allowed me to revisit better times.
