All credit to you, I've know idea how you did it! I'm absolutely out of ideas for the outstanding ones. Bar a sudden strike of inspiration, I'm done...

A lot of patience and good searching skills on internet.  Some of them were pretty hard, especially one of the anime ones.  I found a list of all (or so they say) anime movies or movies with animated sequence in them.  I searched the titles one at time for pictures until I found one with the same character.

It's either gonna be a tie or he'll win then because there's nothing more I can do.  I'm giving up on the 3 that I'm missing, I just don't know where to look or what to look for.

The latest scoresheet has the answers, Achim. And I am kicking myself most violently for missing Equilibrium. Worse, in a classic case of the only stupid answer being no answer at all, I did think of Equilibrium, but couldn't place the scene or find that screenshot. I thought I must be wrong, so ignored it!  :bag:

The other three I missed though, no way at all on Earth was I ever going to catch them. I did decide that the kid with the gargoyle must be a medieval fantasy sort or thing, but would never have got it.

Well done on a great quiz, well hosted, Karsten! :clapcheer:

I found Tampopo through Wikipedia, who helpfully had a "Japanese Films 1985" page!

5 Great Quiz points awarded to Karsten. ;)

You didn't recognize Matthew Broderick?

I didn't recognize him either Jon but at least you and I have the excuse of being foreign to the actor's COO ;)

Thanks for the quizz Karsten

Maybe I've finished 9th, but I haven't used Google to find my answer and many of them were completly unknown to me to make a long story short : I'm not "ashamed" by my final rank.

I always knew I was a "10"

I did the best I could - I can't stand it when I know I know something but I just couldn't bring myself to look them up.

Great game; thanks Karsten!
