I checked 500-999 as well, currently at 897, with 7 in the mail.

How about a 0-499 option for the poor guys who don't have the time to go out and buy DVDs because they are too busy putting up web sites and forum ?

Sorry to say I belong in the 0-499 population.  I have almost 400 discs though I plan to expand like crazy once I get home. I don't like to buy if I know I won't be watching them because there's too much work, so they're always a temptation.

I just passed the 3,000 mark.

Congrats! This is indeed the problem with DVD Profiler. I keep thinking I'll slow down, but quite the opposite seems to happen. 

2057 for me with about 15 or so in the mail.  And I don't discuss my unwatched stats.

Dang, I'm still in the 1000-1499 club
I decided I wanted some really large boxes next, so I got Babylon 5 and Andromeda. As you can imagine, I've been occupied watching them
Next up is BSG S3 which will arrive next week, and then TNG S1-S7 which will come into view late next month, both rather steep in price.

we had over 800 dvds, between selling them, people stealing them (yes there have been a number of dvds missing from their cases)  and I guess a load of them got lost when we moved, we now only have a shameful 15 dvds at the moment. I got so down about everything that I just stopped buying dvds altogether. But now that we are settled in the new place I have slowly started back on my buying frenzy.
