And the movie title database is pretty much done now in Excel.

I don't track all data, but Movie title, name of reviewer and link to review is a good starting point ;)

He has been gone on pilgrimage for a while. Things have evolved around here ;)

My Wordpress blog does that automatically and it is quite neat. Course, I still haven't used that site in anger yet, but it works quite nicely. It creates a list at the bottom of the post linking in five related posts, very likely to be other reviews in my case.

It's probably because you have set a tag system in it. I can do it in my blog also, but don't use it because I don't like that.

Yeah, it is a specific plug-in. Imaginatively called "Related Posts"! :-[

It's been a couple of years since I posted a review.

Are there any standards I should know about? I have an HTML window for DVD Profiler, but it looks like some here are using something a bit more updated (DVD/Blu-ray logos, IMDb and Wikipedia links).

Is there an updated HTML template?

And is there any preference for individual movie threads vs. having a single thread for one's reviews?

There's no rule, do it as you like. It's not as if this is the Invelos forum with all the sexually frustrated, anal retentive rule mongers.  ;)

I updated my template recently and also others have started to use it.

Here is my template. Feel free to use it.

What you prefer. Personally I prefer ongoing threads with multiple reviews. Others prefer a new thread for each review. Whichever you feel more comfortable with.

So can we assume we will get to see some new reviews from you?

I would like to. It seems more constructive than arguing about the order of studios and media companies.  :redcard:

:-[ :-[ It seems I've lost the instructions on how to actually use the HTML template.

Could you possibly post specific instructions on setting it up in DVDP?

Thanks.

Well I figured it out......   :yu:

You may want to post instructions for others, anyway!
