Overview
A romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.

Woody's valentine to the French capital and in particular to the Paris of the '20's where a remarkably diverse group of artists and writers were assembled is a wholly elegant confection in a similar vein to his earlier masterwork The Purple Rose Of Cairo. The film was one of the best reviewed Allen films in years and deserved its plaudits. A diverse and charming cast do justice to Woody's witty, award winning prose..

Allen`s love for great artists and the redemption a city offers absolutely shines through, and graced with an inspired performance by Wilson, this becomes maybe his finest work in recent years.

Wonderful film, left me smiling.
