The only thing that keeps me from actually giving it a full recommendation is all the high school pseudo drama (pretty much the same thing I said in this thread:

What I hate is all those now I like you, now I don't, maybe I do, but I don't really, but at the very bottom of my heart I do, but I can't show you, yet I will kiss you, but I can't tell you... know what I mean?

I got over it and still enjoy the show very much, but that whole aspect of it had me pulling my hair at some points.

Sounds like "A Beginner's Guide to »Smallville«"

It seems I'm late to the party.  So to get caught up, I'm a dirty old man (just turned 40 about 2 months back).  Veronica Mars shouldn't be missed.  Season 1 is incredible, season 2 is really good and I didn't care much for season 3.  But I still recommend the show.

And finally,

I am not yet 30, I am just 0x1E. I will turn 0x30 in 18 years.  :P

I think you need to check your math/hex again.  0x1E is 30.  Although if you are 0x1E, you actually will be 0x30 (48) in another 18 years.

He is aware of this. He will be 30 (Hex ;) ) in 18 years as he has written. Not now. Karsten studied IT, and in this branch most like to talk about their age in hex.

It was mainly the first part of the statement.  The "I am not yet 30, I am just 0x1E".  0x1E actually is 30.  So that makes no sense.

Regardless, Veronica is a great show.  We've still not seen the last 1/3 of season 3 either on TV or DVD.  So I'm looking forward to seeing it.  But first we have to finish Stargate SG-1.  We have just 3 discs left of season 10.  So Veronica will have to wait.

After Veronica Mars had received so much praise in this and some other threads over the time I used "today's" Gold Box offer form Amazon to buy all three seasons for 61.95! :yu: (The offer is still valid at the time of this post and may be for another three hours...)

Now this thing better hold up to the promise. But if it works out like with the praise The Big Bang Theory had received then I have nothing to worry about.
