I have yet failed to watch a single episode of "Veronica Mars". I don't think it's my kind of show.

Didn't you once say that about Buffy?  ;)

Yes but Buffy was at least fantasy. AFAIK VM is some kind of P.I. show. I never really liked Magnum.

Veronica Mars reminded me more of a modern day Nancy Drew.

If it helps: I really enjoyed VM. It has often been compared to Buffy (even the S1 cover blurb does), and rightly so. I don't like Magnum either, and what I have seen of Charmed bored me to tears.

Hey, that's Parker Stevenson!

Yup... he played one of the Hardy Boys along with Shaun Cassidy... and Nancy Drew was played by Pamela Sue Martin. I used to watch that series when I was (very) young... and always loved it... with a new appreciation for it now.... as Pamela Sue Martin made a great Nancy Drew!  ;) :drooling: ;D

:hmmmm:

Hmmmm, maybe this is something I may want to check out as well... Last time everyone agreed on a show being good (Dexter) I was pleasantly surprised.

Well lets put it this way Achim.... I got my whole family hooked on Veronica Mars... and all of us was disappointed when the series was canceled. I also got an online friend hooked on the show as well. As of this point... everyone I showed it to really enjoyed it.

One of the best things I like about it is not only is there a weekly mystery to be solved... but also a season long mystery as well. :)

That sounds like there is something going on there...

Well, if I buy all three seasons together at DeepDiscount.com I can even save $4  (It's quite a purchase though, even just one season by itself...).

The 3rd season was my least favorite as they changed some stuff a bit (she enters college)... but it was still good. :)
