I just got the message from Amazon UK that as of yesterday (April 3rd) they no longer offer Free Super Saver Delivery to Sweden. Apparently the same applies to all UK countries (outside of UK) that previously had that option. This means that the minimum delivery charge for me is now £5.40
Well, there goes on of my main reasons for using Amazon UK. They are still nominally cheapest on most items, but they charge full Swedish VAT (25%) while smaller companies only charge UK Vat (19% ?). So I guess it's back to comparing all costs. It's possible that I will still go with Amazon. I really like that their shipments are trackable (hopefully at least
that won't change), but it's not as given as it was before.
