Newspapers (UK)

I've never thought to mention this before. Here in the UK our newspapers frequently give away DVDs and I've picked up loads of decent titles. I'm currently buying the Daily Mail :yucky: erm... daily, despite detesting its tabloid witch hunt crap it passes for journalism, because they're giving away classic war movies. So far I've got:

Reach for the Sky
In Which We Serve
Aces High
Above Us the Waves

Don't know what's in tomorrow, but they're giving away about 16 I think. I missed last Saturday's (the first one), but a friend is holding it for me. It's a double-bill of A Matter of Life and Death and... something else! A couple of other Powell & Pressburger's are coming up (Life and Death of Colonel Blimp), so for just 45p per day it's a cracking collection.

Meanwhile this Saturday, as well as The Daily Mail (again with the :yucky:), I'll be getting The Guardian (better...) because they've got the original Godzilla!  :yahoo:

I know what you mean, I am no fan of the newspaper itself and have only bought it deliberately once and that was only because it had a copy of Kind Hearts & Coronets in it.

It's just a shame they are in those naff card sleeves.
