I finally got around to buying a title that I've heard so many rave about:

I'm usually not that keen on silent movies, unless they're more or less pantomime anyway, like Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd or Charlie Chaplin. But there are some classics that you just got to have, like Metropolis, Nosferatu, The Thief of Bagdad and a few others. And this one, I guess.

While out walking I stopped in Big Lots... came out with...

When in Rome
| Year: 2010 | 91 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Bring home the must-own romantic comedy of the year, filled with wildly funny twists and turns! When Beth, an unlucky-in-love New York curator (Kristen Bell), takes a whirlwind trip to Rome for her sister's wedding, an unexpected crush takes her by surprise. Quickly let down, she defiantly plucks coins from the Fontana de Amore, magically igniting the passions of some comically unsuitable suitors. As a charming reporter (Josh Duhamel) becomes zealously smitten, Beth is skeptical that he's the real deal. Don't miss hilarious performances from an all-star cast you'll want to see again and again, plus exclusive Blu-ray bonus material featuring an alternate opening and ending.

Today I got...

Herbie Fully Loaded
| Year: 2005 | 101 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Start your engines! Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) does the driving when Herbie – the fun-lovin', freewheelin' '63 VW Beetle with a mind of its own – returns better than ever in Disney's all new, revved-up comedy adventure! Though a third-generation member of a NASCAR family, Maggie Peyton (Lohan) has always been forbidden from following her racing dreams by her overprotective father (Michael Keaton – First Daughter). But she has no idea her life is about to take a huge u-turn! After discovering the irresistible Herbie in a junkyard, they form a magical team that will save her family and rewrite the racing record books! With Breckin Meyer (Road Trip), Matt Dillon (There's Something About Mary) and an all-star cast along for the ride, you better believe ol' Number 53 has some new tricks under his hood!

2 Broke Girls: The Complete Second Season
