Thanks Michael! :D

I shouldn't be this tickled about it... but I have been out of work for over 10 years! I am amazed anyone was willing to hire me after that. :P

Thanks... It really is starting to feel like this move to Kentucky was the best thing for me...

- My stress level is down to almost nothing.
- I have met a lot of truly wonderful people
- I am getting back to work.

It is starting to feel like I am really getting my life back in order!  ;D

Good deal, Pete.  I'm happy for you, especially since you had to move to get the job.  Does Walgreen's have a DVD department?

LOL Roger... that won't be to much of a problem. They just have one very small rack. Probably no more then 10 different titles at one time. The problem will be that I am in walking distance of Big Lots!  :surrender:

I know you won't be able to resist Big Lots so make sure you sign up for their Big Lots card. Every so often they'll send you an email notifying you when everything is 20% off. You can get DVDs for $2.40, Blu-rays for $4 and seasons of TV shows for $8.

I just got a call from Walgreens... I am now on the schedule! I go in this coming Friday evening for training. Then go in on Sunday. By Sunday they will have the next week's schedule up.

I am right excited about this. I been waiting for years to get back to work. Though I will admit that I am a bit surprised that they decided to start training me on a Friday evening.  Everywhere I have ever worked Friday evenings are known to be one of the busiest times of the week.

Sounds like they are throwing you into the fire to see how you do.
