For those who were wondering: Klapperschlange = rattle snake

Unfortunately it looks like my movie marathon will have to wait till next weekend. Today has been hectic.... haven't even been able to watch a single DVD today! :( And I was just informed that my brother will need me tomorrow. Damn family.... don't they know they are cutting into my DVD time!  :voodoo:

I will go ahead and leave this poll open for the next week in case anyone else wants to vote.

I'll agree with you. More often than not do I think german film titles of "foreign" films are stupid, but this one is quite alright.

An example of a German title that I find funny : It describe the special power of the boy but they are wrong (he use his mind not his eyes)

Zapped! = Der Typ mit dem irren Blick = The guy with the mistaken view

The traduction is by Google (not 100% correct) but the general idea is there

Director: John Carpenter A marathon of some of the movie I have that was directed by John Carpenter. I really don't have that many (surprisingly)... I have...

   6. Halloween
   8. They Live
   9. The Thing
  10. Vampires

I voted for the John Carpenter marathon, but seriously, where's Escape From New York(You've gotta love the German title for this film - Die Klapperschlange 8)) and Big Trouble In Little China?

I was thinking the exact same thing... How can you have LA without having Escape from New York?! You definitely need to get that one.
