I wont ramble on this time. Been a long day so far, and got a few things to do.
(click to show/hide)
I will keep in mind that it was Molly that was in the interview. I take that with a grain of salt usually. But Huffington is known to be a bit serious. So i will belive what she says actually this time. And what i got from that inteview (if any of it was true.) Is that Alexis is rioting (is that a word, like riot?) and she actually want Rick and Kate to be together. Thats great for once. I hope thats come to the light of day soon. She needs to tell him that. I think that hurted Rick more than he let on. But from the looks of things the next episode is going to be a big one. It looks like alot of stuff is going to happen with Alexis in this one. I hope her "murderfriend" is actually the murder. Just so she get a realitycheck! Its time to wake up now!! "I know him Dad, he didnt do this!" Didnt Rick say that about his murderfriend back in season 3? Or was it season 4? And it looks like something big? will happen between Kate and Alexis, will they have a heart to heart? Will Kate slap some sense in to her? (I hope for the last) Just because the way Alexis has been acting lately. Or the whole season 6 actually! Rick hasnt deserved it. Not Kate either. And i'm 100% sure that Kate sees how much this affects Rick. I think its time for Alexis to get a realitycheck. Just to see how wrong and unfair she's been. I hope maby we get some sneak peeks come Friday. I cant stay away from those even tho i should!
this might just be one of the episodes i look the most forward to because of so many reasons! Well, i guess this is it from me today. Oh, come Monday its Bones again?

I know that Molly has not always been the most...accurate over things she has said in interviews. But if she actually thinks that Rick has abused Alexis, then Molly needs a big reality check. And that could mean that she is just as spoiled and entitled in real life as Alexis is acting now. Maybe someone needs to smack some sense into her.
I do like that she said that Rick and Kate belong together and that Alexis said that just to be mean. That wasn't the only mean thing she said though...and really...I don't think she was being mature at all in that chat. She certainly wasn't showing Rick any respect. I do think that Alexis needs to tell Rick that she didn't mean that. Just with how she has been acting lately, I don't know that she would.
Alexis does need some kind of reality check. I don't necessarily want to see her get hurt - that would hurt Rick too...and Kate..and Martha. Hell, just about everyone really - look how the guys and Gates reacted when Alexis was kidnapped - but something needs to happen to knock some sense into her so to speak. Oooo...yes...Rick did say that about his friend who was suspected of killing his wife. I had forgotten about that one. And Rick ended up proving that the friend had actually killed his own dad years before.
It seems that maybe there is going to be some kind of talk between Kate and Alexis..saw an interview with Marlowe that indicated that. He said he wouldn't be soap opera like when yelling. Still would kind of like to see Kate tell Alexis to stop acting like a bratty kid and be an adult. Tell her she can disagree with her dad, but she shouldn't disrespect him or try to deliberately hurt him. He also made a few kind of....stupid remarks about Pi and the whole mess going on.. Fans love to hate Pi and stuff like that. Ummm no. This arc just isn't working...and it has turned Alexis into an entitled brat. It is going to be hard to forget this...
It did kind of seem like Pi picked up on how Alexis was acting toward her dad at the dinner - when she got nasty to Rick after he offered the couch.. It could be interesting if Pi told Alexis to knock off how she's acting toward her dad..point out that he said he's sorry ..something like that.
Oh...I read something over at the castle board that was kind of an interesting idea. I doubt it will be true...the timing couldn't..but it would have been interesting. Someone suggested that this person that Alexis is so determined to help next episode is Max...as in the guy she was all gaga over for a while last season, and then poof...no more Max. Even when she talked about him last year, she seemed kind of bubbly...happier..clearly smitten. I haven't seen that sort of behavior from her aimed at Pi really.
There is a lot of potential for the next episode. I just want the Alexis mess fixed. Ohh..also in that interview - which I think this little bit was actually in something else I read earlier..month or so ago even - about the engagement being at the root of Alexis's behavior - boo .. I don't like that at all. Exploring the ..unexpected impact or something like that..can't remember.
Ohh..he also said about Kate..that she is gaining a family..not just Rick and that she has to figure that out. I like thinking of Kate as part of Rick's family with Martha and Alexis. Kate would have to adjust to that a little bit since she hasn't had a real family since her mom died.

Just watched the latest episode.
Is it just me or is there a trend this season to turn Alexis into a really annoying brat?
Edith says after reading the previous ramblings: No, I'm not alone.

Do you think we did enough to share what we think of Alexis right now?
But yes, she is turning into an annoying brat...and I don't like her much at the moment. I just hope the.....stuff is resolved soon..before she does something we can't forget or forgive...and for me...she's getting closer every minute she shows up.

Well, no sneak peeks yet. Usually a (good) sign that the episode is huge. I guess we will just wait and see how they deal with things. As said before, it has great potential. Anyways over to Alexis for a bit. Glad its not only me that thinks she's acting like a brat. And she might do things that we wont forget\forgive? Weel, she has crossed that line a loong time ago. I wont forget how she's been acting lately or forgive her for that. Even when they kiss and makeup. He doesnt deserve it. But its time for her to change. Weell, i will have more to write later.

I agree....Rick definitely doesn't deserve how she has been acting. Yes she's a smart, mature young woman...or at least she has been, but she isn't acting that way anymore. She's ....basically acting like she's entitled to get her way every time all the time and hell hath no fury if someone dares to object or stop her. It will be very hard for me to forget about what she has done too.
Hopefully stuff will at least start to get fixed in the next episode.

I just read another article that has some bits from Quinn and Marlowe...kind of interesting. And this one isn't setting me off on another rant.
(click to show/hide)
Quinn does talk about Alexis standing up for herself..said Rick was a bad dad... No he isn't..anyway. It wasn't as irritating to me. And she does say that Alexis doesn't have a problem with Kate.
Some ..interesting things in there..makes me feel a little less...irritated and annoyed about the Alexis situation.

Just saw the episode. I liked it..and I am less annoyed and irritated now.
(click to show/hide)
Ok...I was a bit annoyed with Alexis at the beginning..how she went to Rick for help, but said I'm still mad at you and nothing is changing. grrrr.... But of course Rick would help her. He's not going to turn her down even though she hasn't been talking to him. And how she shot him down when he tried to talk to her. Again he was trying, but her highness thought it wasn't good enough or something.
But, I thought it got better as the episode continued. Her attitude was better overall I think...though there was once or twice when the slap urge returned. But overall, I'm not as annoyed with her. I'm glad she told Rick she was sorry...Rick shouldn't have said he deserved it though. He did not deserve the level of anger she put out there. But...I feel better about that situation now. I do like that she talked to Kate at the end..though it kind of sucks that we don't know what was said..but I'll deal. The main thing is that things look good between them...which I had thought they were until some of the episodes this season..and interviews about Alexis acting out over the engagement. Seems like that is all settled now. I do think Alexis should have told Rick that she hadn't meant it when she questioned if Kate was right for him. Though maybe Rick figures that out himself since Alexis wants to talk to Kate and he saw them hug there at the end. Much nicer ending than the last two. That reminds me...I saw another interview with Quinn tonight where she made it very clear Alexis has no issue with Kate..and another with Marlowe where he says the same thing. Alexis was just lashing out at her dad. She should apologize specifically for that... but I guess I'll deal. I still think she has been a spoiled brat ... I probably will never ...see her the same way again, but I am getting past my irritation. Though I may be waiting for her to have another...snit. I do feel better about the situation. It just could have been handled a bit better without her being such a....well...entitled brat. I do feel a lot better about all of it.
I loved the little bit at the beginning when Rick was trying to convince Kate that they should get married in space. Sounds like something Rick would suggest.
And I like that they are starting to discuss wedding stuff - going to look at venues - even though it wasn't a big thing in the episode. I also liked when Kate went to Lanie to talk about how Alexis has gone to everyone but her for help.. I like that Kate talked to someone about the fact that she was feeling a little....unsure about that instead of letting it build and build until there was some ugly fight or something. I also liked how she talked about her and Rick becoming a family soon - I also read that more stuff tied to wedding planning will come up in the spring.
And it was good that Lanie got a little more to do..give Kate advice..help Alexis - after calling her out for not going to her (Lanie) directly to begin with.
The case stuff was interesting. I didn't see that conclusion coming. There at the end, when Rick and Alexis were talking to the sheriff (cop)? and his son, the look on the son's face, the killer...I thought he was flipping out and going to lunge at Alexis or something.
The next episode looks interesting..and possibly another fun type case with the huge diamond they find.

So we dont agree about this episode for a change actually. I will just say a few quick words about Alexis.. She said sorry to her dad, finally! But it wasnt sincere(?) is that how i write it. And the way she bossed the precenct around and her dad in this episode. WHEN SHE ASKED FOR HELP! Not flying by me! Not ok at all. She was still a brat. Even with the sorry. I guess i will just have to see what happens next with her. I see that there are mixed opinions about this episode. I'm with the ones that didnt enjoy it that much. Because of Alexis. And the last scene with Alexis and Kate.. I guess i expected more! I dont mean to be negative here. But i just dont like Alexis this season so far. And i saw the promo for next episode, looks interesting. So far this season is almost perfect!

Like I said, Alexis did still bother me some, especially earlier in the episode, but I thought she got better by the end. She was sporting attitude again early on..and with Ryan and Esposito. Though I can see her doing that because she was so...stressed about trying to help that guy. I can see why some people aren't as happy with the episode because of her. The way she has been acting this season hasn't been good. Some of the same sort of ...character growth could have done without her turning into a disrespectful brat. But I do feel better about the situation now and less annoyed with her. Unless she pulls some other crap in the next few episodes. Then the irritation and annoyance will return. I would have liked there to be a little more to the scene with Kate and Alexis too, but I can go with how it was done.
I can't remember if I mentioned this yet or not..might have. But I did read an interview with Marlowe the other day and he even said that Alexis didn't have a problem with Kate. Perhaps he's seen or read some of the stuff that fans were speculating about - Alexis being upset with Kate and all that... It would have helped if a few things had been handled better to begin with..and if Molly Quinn hadn't said in a few interviews things that seemed to indicate that Alexis was mad at Kate...talked about Alexis trying to delay the wedding..break them up ..all that nonsense.

We're going towards the holyday season huh. And then we will have a month break from all the tv-shows yes? I've been reading some interviews too about Alexis's outrage and the wedding and the future etc. When it comes to Alexis i dont have much more to say about her. Its all been said. I guess we will just see how Andy & co plays it out in the coming episodes. And for the wedding.. Since its such a big thing for the whole show i dont think we will see a wedding soon. I think they will milk it as long as possible. I would think maby in the seriesfinale? I havent read much enough about it to know anything so i'm just guessing ofc. And i think in this episode we saw too little of Kate. (I think i'm in love with Kate or Stana
) But i guess its early in the season still, and we will have alot of great moments coming up. Its interesting to see that when we are writing about Castle (the show) its almost only positive stuff. But when it comes to the other show, its just as much negative stuff if isnt more negative stuff.. Well, i guess that says it all huh?

There probably will be about a month with no new episodes..
One episode is supposed to be set around Christmas, but not as much Christmas focused as the one last year. I would have liked to see Kate help Rick decorate this year...and be more looking forward to Christmas this year now that she's with Rick and they are happy...ohhh...and them tease each other about presents - kind of like they did for Valentine's day. Though maybe we'll get at least a little that. An episode that deals with Thanksgiving could be good too. Rick and Kate host a dinner at the loft...Martha and her dad - is his name Jim? I can't remember - and they get along better this time...Alexis..heck even Pi..they can give him a fruit platter or something. Maybe Lanie, Esposito, Ryan, and Jenny too. That could be fun.
I don't think they are going to rush into the wedding. Marlowe has even said as much in at least one interview. I'll have to see if I can find the one again. He did hint at more wedding planning stuff in the spring...though I don't know how much. But that they would be thinking more of setting a date or something like that I think. I would hope we'd get to the wedding before the series finale. I don't want it to end anytime soon...oh..wait. One interview thing I read talked about how Marlowe had more ideas and stuff for the show and Rick and Kate..several more years worth of ideas. Which would be great. Though I know the show will end eventually....just would hope that we'd get to see them married before that... maybe even have a little Castle. They could do a few episodes that sort of...hmm...skip forward some or something before it ends..maybe kind of like how the last episode of Will & Grace or Mad About You were. So we could see them with a kid..or 2..or 3
See if Kate does end up a Senator - and how in the world that happens..if Rick starts to write different books.. just stuff like that. Heck they could even run into that time traveler guy in the future.
Ohhh...in one of the things I read, Marlowe did mention about Bracken coming back...talked about doing something with a bigger villain sometime after the winter break and how Bracken fit that part so well.
