Okay, trying a little quiz. The rules:
- You must NOT use google or research tools of any kind. This will be considered cheating.
- There will be at least 24 hours between questions (I'll be away working for four weeks from the 19th so this may affect time between questions).
- PM all your answers. You get 1 point for each correct answer.
- Some days there might be 20 questions though don't be dismayed as they will all be quick to answer.

Whoever has the most points at the close of the game on the 1st May will win a Blu-ray/DVD/TV set... I don't know - they'll win something!

First set of questions. Today's questions are all about literature. I will post a clue for each question and you must tell me the title of the book I am describing.

1) Bilbo has adventures with dwarves and takes Gollum's ring.

2) Alice falls down rabbit hole, plays croquet using flamingos and hedgehogs.

3) Bella meets a vampire called Edward - they fall in love.

4) The Pevensies meet Mr Tumnus and Mr Beaver. Aslan lives.

5) Tess loves Angel, Alec wants Tess, Tess kills Alec.

6) Anastasia Steele meets Christian Grey. He is dominant and controlling.

7) Boys crash on an island. Piggy has the Conch. Roger kills Piggy.

8 ) The Cuthberts adopt a girl. She hates Gilbert.

9) Arthur Dent's planet is destroyed but Ford Prefect saves him.

10) Henry has chrono-displacement. He meets Clare and they get married.

In Round 1 you trapped me with the Chronicles of Narnia question.
Only noticed "Aslan Lives" which only is worth mentioning in "Prince Caspian" where he returns from "death", completely oversaw that neither "Beaver" nor "Tumnus" appear there.
I pride myself in not having recognized "Anne of Green Gables" and not knowing the author of "50 Shades".

Difficulty-level up to now is OK, not too hard, not too easy.

Checked my misses for Round 2 and haven't even heard of 2 of the movies and never was interested enough in the third to recognise the plot.
Now I hope my 9 answers are all correct.

Hopefully round 2 gets a better turnout!
