This is because this forum is male-dominated, and the most men don't have any mental development anymore after the age of 23.
This stagnation then gets the following interpretations:
23 - 34: age-adequate behaviour
35 - 54: Mid-Life-Crisis (you didn't change anything, but suddenly it's assumed that you cannot cope with your age and surely must have missed something in your youth)
55 - 74: Young at Heart (you still didn't change, but suddenly it's OK again)
75 - : Wisdom of Age (The crown of stagnation, you still didn't change, but suddenly all you do is great!)
