I still haven't seen all of the last episode.  I just had a bad feeling about Wesley..then I saw enough to know that he died and that ticked me off more.  Grrrrrr.

But watch the last episode, even if it is sad the moment is touching and resolve the Wesley / Fred story.

I didn't mean that I figured out what happened to Wesley from what you posted..I knew the night the last episode aired.  Not exactly how, but I saw enough of the episode to know that happened.  I suppose I should have figured that would happen after what Whedon did in Buffy.

Yeah, Joss seems very fond of killing his characters, especially in the very last episode. Just look at Buffy, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, even Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
