Sounds awesome. How long did you have the other though? US rules sound pretty crap for warantees.

In the UK, if an electrical item breaks, it is the responsibility of the store you bought it from for a year by law, and then by manufacturer for 3-5 years depending on the type of electrical product (by law again). Of course, that doesn't stop stores trying to sell their own warantees, but you don't need them... at least here in the UK.

You definitely need them around here. The stores are usually around a couple/few months. manufacturer... I think it is something like a year unless you get the extended warranty. But reading the horror stories Kathy had with her Toshiba... I was advised not to bother with them.

Thanks... I am sure I will. But I have a feeling it is going to be a long, impatient wait for it. Or at the very least it will feel like an awful long wait! 

I haven't even gotten the tracking number yet... and all I can think about is all the things I need to do to get it set up once it gets here!
