My Review:
After watching the first movie i wasnt sure i wanted to watch the sequel, but after i found it real cheap i just had to check it out. And to my surprise i actually enjoyed this one. Ofc it had its moments here and there. Alot of comedy mixed perfectly with the silly action scenes. And i liked this better then the first one. I will have to give the first one a try again to see if i enjoy that one more after watching this. A allright 2 hours on a late Saturday evening.

Interesting, Thomas. I thought the first film was ok, but after hearing some rather negative views about this one I more or less wrote it off. I may have to rethink that. Thanks (I think)!

Plot:
Beyond a Reasonable Doubt telles the story of C. J. Nicholas, an ambitious young journalist, (Jesse Metalife) who investigates a corrupt district attorney by setting himself up as a murder suspect, only for the DA (Michael Douglas) to uncover the plot and incriminate the scribe.

A present-day remake of the Fritz Lang 1956 RKO classic, the film updates the dark and ominous film noir genre by making use of the plot twists that will keep audiences guessing until the end.

A news reporter wanting to prove the insuffiency of the circumstantial evidence to expose a corrupt DA with an unbelievable track record takes matters into his own hands by setting himself up to be convicted of a murder. Along for the ride is C.J.'s sidekick (Joel David Moore) who documents their plan and is the only one who holds the key to his innosence.

Cought in between C.J.'s plan and DA Mark Hunter's ambition is the young assistant DA, Ella (Amber Tamblyn). As the two developed a romance matters are complicated as C.J.'s plot unfolds trapping Ella in the middle. Obvious to C.J.'s plan she goes against her boss to uncover evidence to prove his innocense.

Consistent to the themes of film noir the hero's fate comes into jeopardy. With the horror of an innocent man being imprisoned for life only to give a corrupt DA determined to use his success to get to the mayor's office, one more victory...

Extras:
Scenevalg
Audio Commentary
Dokumentar

My Review:
That was actually a allright and interesting movie. A little different than i expected it to be. Thought we would see more of Mr. Douglas, but i really liked what they did with the story. And there was a incredible twist i never saw coming. Almost a little shocked. A good drama\thriller if you asked me. Check it out for a cheap penny.

I watched this in the theaters i think it was when it came out in 05 and then i remember i enjoyed it. And it helps that George Clooney is amazing as the agent. George Clooney is my favorite actor. And today i wanted to check it out again. And i still enjoyed it. Its a good movie. It could have been a great movie, but for me it was too slow paced here and there. And we didnt see Clooney as much as i hoped maby. All in all a good 2 hours. Check it out.

My Review:
Well, this was a complete blind buy and i bought it because it looked interesting and was real cheap. And the story was interesing. Buut, the movie failed totally for me. The story was boring. The cast wasnt looking interested in the movie. The movie was just weird and slow. And for a horror\thriller it wasnt even that many scaremoments. Well, skip it.

Yep.. Disney Pixar did it again.. Amazing! After watching Monsters Inc, i hoped they would make a sequal. And now i finally got around to check it out. And the movie is just amazing. Picture and sound quality is amazing. And the movie had cute and funny moments trough out the movie. Its not as good as Monsters Inc IMHO but a close second. I *liked* the film but it just didn't hit as well as Monsters Inc. did.  The film and production were very good .. even better than the first.  Maybe it is because it wasn't *new*?  I know that I find sequels harder to fulfill than the originals  ...
Thank you

And with good reason, since most sequels are inferior to the original. There are some outstanding exceptions, but they are few and far between.

:o I just realized: 2014 is finally the first years after a long time, where we don'y get a new Pixar film. IIRC it's because they cancelled Newt...

Pixar Upcoming

But for some reason the Upcoming list doesn't show Incredibles 2...? :fingerchew"

He play's a former cop who turns serial killer, and kill people because of his own vandetta. The movie have some ok moments her and there. For me this was just a avrage movie.
