My Review:
Another great movie from Disney and its 'classic series' not going to say too much about the movie, but i will say that the tranfser from dvd to blu-ray was great. The picture and sound was amazing in this blu-ray set. And with Disney we ofc get the feel good story and a happy ending. And as last time i watched this, i really enjoyed it. If you dont have the bluray version, i would recommand you guys to check it out. Worth a double dip IMHO.

Title: Redemption

Video: Widescreen 2.40:1
Audio: English: DTS-HD Master Audio: 5.1

Stars:
Jason Statham (1972)
Agata Buzek
Vicky McClure
Benedict Wong
Ger Ryan
Youssef Kerkour

Plot:
Jason Statham stars as an ex-Special Forces officer who comes home from the Afghan war a shattered man. Broke, homeless, lost in a haze of drugs and booze, Joseph Smith attempts to piece his life back together with the help of Sister Christina, a nun helping the poor. But while employed as a collector for a local mob boss, Joseph learns the identity of a friend’s murderer and, bent on revenge, finds himself sinking deeper into a dark world of violence in this brutally powerful action-thriller.

Bonus Trailers
Dokumentar
Digital Copy

My Review:
This is a bit difficult to review and rate. Its a very slow movie, with some typical Statham scenes. But again the movie is a bit different from what he use to play in, even tho his character his alot of the same old. He plays a soldier who's back home from the war, and terrible things happens to the people he loves, and he's on a revenge mission trough out the movie. You know what you get from Mr.Statham, but this wasnt his best. Not recommanded.

So not even "graphic nudity" can save this film? Sounds like I can safely pass on it, then  ;)

Plot:
Brian De Palma returns to the sleek, sly, seductive territory of Dressed To Kill with an erotic thriller fueled by sex, ambition and the murderous side of Passion. My Review:
Well, to be honest this was a complete blindbuy, only reason i bought this was because i saw Noomi Rapace in it. And i've been a fan of her every since she played 'Lisebeth Salander' And it is a movie with a rather small story, but man did they make it work. I dont know if i would call it a erotic thriller, but something in between. And both Noomi and Rachel McAdams does two brilliant parts as two women that will stop at absolutely nothing, even murdering someone. Just a great thriller trough out. For me, this is highly recommanded actually, and they have some good extras aswell.

My Review:
I saw this 10 years ago or so. And from what i remembered i really enjoyed it. So i wanted to check it out again today, and i didnt remember much from it. But wow, this is one hell of a movie really. You get a rough journey trough the eyes from a real bad and dirty cop (Denzel Washington) and a rookie who's got problems with how Mr.Washington is taking the law in his own hands. And it is one hell of a ride. And Denzel Washington puts on a amazing performance as the dirty cop. This is one of the better 'gangster/gang' movies i've seen. And its worth the money from Denzel Washington performance alone IMHO. Its a must have.

Catching Fire is a very good second film for the series.  It is also nice that the films, to this point, have followed the books pretty well.  Little bits here and there but overall the flavor is very consistent.  The acting and direction (an other artsy bits) have grown with the second one.  Overall it has been a very fun experience.  Only wonder what they will do now that Philip Seymour Hoffman is dead .. very sad
Thank you

Will be interesting to see how they will do it all. Real shame about Philip Seymour. Drugs is a nasty buisness :(

My Review:
I bought this while i was on vacation in Germany actually. Mainly because of Marilyn Monroe. And i actually enjoyed this one a fair bit. I just hoped i would see more of Marilyn Monroe tho. Some people would prolly disagree with me right now, but i would say this movie is a musical. So its not a movie for you Pete! ;)  But i do enjoy a good musical from time to time, as long as its done correctly and this one was. I enjoyed it, and i would say if you like musical's or just like Marilyn Monroe, give it a shot. (You are warned Pete)

It's been 12 years since I saw this, and I'll be darned if I remember anything about it. I know I have seen a lot of movies, and it's not surprising that I don't remeber them all, but when I start forgetting Marilyn I'm beginning to worry...  :-[

Drugs are just a symptom (pretty final one at times).  But the 3rd movie will be in 2 parts (this is really becoming popular.  Part 1 will be out November of this year and part 2 will be out november of next year
Thank you

I also liked this one quite a bit more than the first one. I had been worried that it would be too much of the same (as it was a known fact they would have to "play" in another round of games), but the way it turned out was quite satisfactory.

Unfortunately, I kept hearing that the third book will not only be made into two movies (why...?) but that it's apparently the least popular book. So, my expectations are kept in check, which can only be good, I suppose.
