My Review:
So, after alot of stuff happening, and alot of tv-shows watched. Me and some friends finally got around to watch Brave 3D. And the movie starts of' actually quite good. With alot of good 3D efects aswell. (wich is always good) its not every movie they are able to pull that of as good. Actually a cute movie, with an interesting story to boot. Alot of stuff happening aswell, and the movie had me interested trough out the movie aswell. Wich is never a bad sign. A typical Pixar\Disney movie IMO. But a very well done animted movie. A very cute familymovie if you ask me. And the picture\sound quality was amazing aswell. And they did a great job with the 3D in this one IMO. All in all, i highly recommand this for anyone that is a fan of both a good movie, and animated movies.

My Review:
So inbetween all the Christmas stuff i've been doing and the tv-shows i've been watching lately, i finally got around to watch a movie! (About on time!) And this one was a blind buy (again) actually. I only saw Mr.Cage and Malin Åkerman on the cover, and it kinda looked interesting too. So the movie starts out ok, with some cool scenes. And with an interesting story, and goes on for about 20 minutes. But then, its like they just hit a switch on the movie. The story stands complety still, nothing is happening really. The movie gets boring, the story\plot is in the same place in the whole movie just about. And i have to say that i hoped i would get to see some of the "oldschool" Nic Cage again. But man, IMO did he dissapoint in this movie. Just didnt look like he was IN it like he was in his old days. This was a movie that had great potential IMO, but they blew it big time. With just about everything. I guess maby i expected too much of it or them! For me, i wont recommand this one for anyone. Sorry

My Review:
So, i am at the 4th movie of this Swedish crimeseries from Liza's Marklunds books. And i have to say that for each movie, i like this series more and more. More action and more suspence for every movie.
So, this one had a good and very interesting plot to it. It had me guessing trough out the movie, i had some thoughts on who did what. But i was fooled. Wich is a nice thing. I really like what they have done with this series so far, with both the main character and the story of the saga in the whole thing. Everything to the small details from each movie, and the development from the character. And the acting is better aswell. This is a real good Swedish crime\drama series that i have enjoyed so far. And in every movie, that make somekind twist. "didnt see that coming" So it wont be just the same for 6 movies. A movie series that i recommand you people to check out!
Personally i cant wait to check out both movie 5 and the last one in the pack, movie 6! Really like where all of this is heading!

My Review:
So, why not just keep on going with this filmseries? 5/6 movies done! And this one started of real good, and 'one of their own' is targeted. And a police man is killed. And this police that is killed looked like a saint (?) is that the correct word? And people at the force is ofc very sad about that. But as Anikka and the media people starts to dig in his past etc, stuff happens. And is the officer who people belived he was? Well, let me just say this. It was one hell of a ride to find out, what was really the story about this one. And Anikka the (the journlist) should becareful in what she does, and how she does it. She is willing to do WHATEVER it takes, to get a good story out, but did she cross the line this time?
Does she know what people she's messing with? This 5th movie is a great movie, with a great story that had me in my seat. A movie filled with a good mix between both suspence and action. And i liked what they did with the twists and turns in this one aswell! A great movie that i ofcourse recommand you guys to watch! Cant wait to check out the last movie in the series! Wonder what they have in store for us, in that way! Hopefully i'll be able to watch it today or tomorrow!

My Review:
So, i finally got trough them all. 1-6! And what a great series it was. But more on that later. For this movie, (being the last one in the series) i had a bit higher expactions on this one, then the other ones. It starts of a bit shaky, with nothing much happening really, but get fairly quick back at the action. A bit different story this time, then what i've been used to in the other movies. But thats a good thing IMO. This a case where the journalist needs to go out of town and out of the country, wich was interesting enough. And while on the case, alot of good stuff happens. And ofc with a few tiwsts and turns. With something i didnt see coming, and something i did see coming unfortunatly. But other than that, they did a good job with this story IMO, had me in interested trough out the movie. And enough stuff happening that i think the movie was a good finish for the series. A filmseries that i'm happy that i checked out. And a movieseries that i would highly recommand you guys to watch, if you like a good mix of suspence and crime! Well worth it IMO.

My Rating:
5/6

For the filmseries in total (movies 1-6) i would have to give it a solid 5/6

My Review:
Ok, so i wanted to check this one out, for a few reasons. One of the reasons was that i wanted to see how Harry Potter did outside the Harry Potter movies. And i think he did an ok job (in this movie anyways) and the second reason was that i enjoyed the trailer of the movie. And for the movie itself, its an ok 'horror' movie with a few good spots. A interesting story too, that had me interested trough out it. An ok ending aswell (IMO) but a movie that was a bit too slow for my taste, to get that real "WOW" feeling. And a movie with not enough 'scare' moments either to make it a very good horror movie. But an ok movie, with a few good spots and interesting story and an ok ending. And with a good sound quality too! A movie that i would say 'check out it, if you get it cheap' Thats what i think anyways!

Stars:
Farley Granger
Ruth Roman
Robert Walker (1918)
Leo G. Carroll

Laura Elliott

Plot:
Before anyone thought of "throwing Momma from the train," the idea of a double "crisscross" murder had already been hatched. Or "hitched," as in Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train. Tennis star Guy Haines (Farley Granger) half-jokingly muses about killing his wife with a stranger he meets on a train, unhinged playboy Bruno Anthony (Robert Walker), who'd prefer his father be deceased. In theory, each could murder the other's victim. Crisscross. No motive. No clues. No problem...except: Bruno takes the idea seriously, with deadly consequences. Whether you're a fan of Hitchcock's or just brilliant filmmaking, this diabolical tale of twisting suspense and macabre humor, costarring Ruth Roman and Hitchcock stalwarts Leo G. Carroll and the director's daughter, Patricia Hitchcock, is your ideal carnival ride.

My Review:
So, this is a movie i've wanted to see\get for a very long time. And a got it for Christmas! (Thank you very much!) I've never seen it before but heard just great stuff about it. So now i finally got around to watch it. And before i write what i think about it i got a quastion for you guys that have seen it. Was that Alfred Hitchcock in the beginning of the movie?! Or was it just someone that looked like him?
So to the movie, it started of as i expected. But just about there it stopped. It was a bit different movie then i expected it to be. But a good movie, with a great storyline that had me in my chair all movie long. A movie with some great lead actors in it aswell. And i like what they did with the story too, and how they kept me interested trough out the movie, and not giving away the ending 10minutes in it. And i am a big fan of Hitchcock's work, and this is a new one that i really enjoyed! And not to forget, its a B&W movie wich i love aswell! Even though i dont have anything to compare it to, i really think they did a great job with both the sound and picture quality on this one. (I havent seen the dvd or anything) so i dont know how the quality there was. But again a just amazing job by Hitchcock & co. A movie that i highly recommand you guys to check out!

Thanks for the The Woman In Black review, I was on the fence about it but I will now only go for a rental.

And before i write what i think about it i got a quastion for you guys that have seen it. Was that Alfred Hitchcock in the beginning of the movie?! Or was it just someone that looked like him?
Hitchcock had walk-on roles in almost all of his later films. It started as a cheap way to fill the scene a little more and eventually became something of a trademark. At some point he had to start to make sure he'd show up in the beginning so people could then concentrate on the film, not keep looking or him

So, yes, that was probably him.

Based on the horrifying true story of convicted bus-murderer Henry Lee Lucas (portrayed by a magnetic Michael Rooker), John McNaughton's HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER is one of the most remarkable films in the serial killer genre. My Review:
So, after people said great things about this one, and i had it in my unwatched pile for awhile. I finally got around to watch it. I didnt know what to expect really. This horror movie was a bit different than i thought it would be. But a good horror movie with a sick and twisted story with a good performance by the lead actor as 'Henry' and wow, what a sick and twisted man Henry is. Its a good mix in the movie between the sick horror and the suspence. And what they have done with the music too in the movie, its just perfect with the scenes and the mood and stuff in the movie. And there was some really nasty scenes aswell. There was two scenes that made feel just empty inside afterwards. This movie is a good horror movie, but not for the easly offended ones. If you got a strong heart and like a good horror movie, i really recommand this one! But IF NOT. Dont watch it please!
