Hehe, sorry Dsig ;) And i gotta agree with you, i liked how they did both the filming and editing. And Barbara as "The Queen" did a great job aswell, agreed! They did a almost perfect job with the movie. There was a few things with the movie that i didnt like. That made me give it a 4.5 and not a perfect 6. But yeah, highly recommanded movie. Even for the people who doesnt like "the dance movies"

You know .. you keep talking about it being a dance movie .. to me this film was more about an obsessive girl who through pressure (internal as well as external) tumbles completely into a level of madness.  It could have been any profession the requires near perfection and any body who was damaged.  It isn't "Dirty Dancing" :-)

But that is just me .. maybe we are saying the same thing with different words.

We do agree on it being a great movie.
Thank you
David

I totally agree with you on that! And the reason i call it for a "dance movie" is that it was ballet she was doing.
I think we kinda ment the same. And i am not that good with words. (sorry)

And for the movie, yeah. Great! Everyone that had something to do with the movie did an amazing job. From the actors\actresses to the crew behind the scenes!

If you liked "Black Swan", I highly recommend the grandmother of this genre: "The Red Shoes" (1948).
The Ballet is slightly more in the foreground than in "Black Swan", still it isn't exactly a "Dance-Movie", it merely takes place in ballet and as in "Black Swan" the professional background would be exchangeable.

After watching Black Swan, someone recommended me one called The Company with Neve Campbell. I've had it my to watch pile for a couple of years (bought it before seeing BS) but it hasn't been picked by random.org yet for me to watch!

Just checked out the trailer for it.. It looked like they shot the movie like a "documentary" wich is always interesting. And with alot of great actors aswell.

Robert Altman's The Company is superb, but I would say anyone not interested in modern ballet will most likely be bored. The film originally was a pet project of Neve Campbell, who herself was a trained ballet dancer but had to give it up due to injuries. Unlike Natalie Portman or Moira Shearer, Campbell actually does all the dancing in the film herself, which is helped by the fact that her role is more modestly calibrated - she isn't the star of the troupe. The troupe being the real Joffrey Ballet, on which the film focuses equally if not more than on Campbell.

My Review:
Well, what can i say about this one? I think i kinda had high expectations on this one. With all the Oscars it won, and i am a big fan of the silent\black and white era. And going in to this movie i kinda had high expactions, and didnt really know what to think about it. But man, what a movie! What they have managed to do with it, simply amazing. It was like seeing a movie from the 20's. Just an amazing movie, with a good story aswell. And the lead actors did a great job with what they had to work with! I understand why the movie won 5 Osars. And this is a movie that i highly recommand for you guys that like the silent and black\white era.. Just amazing IMO.. Not perfect, but almost perfect. There was just a few things i didnt like with the movie.. But almost a perfect 6!

5/6

Wow, just wow! I didnt expect much from this movie, i knew that i won  4 Oscars, and Colin Firth won the Oscar for best performance by and actor in a leading role. But it was a movie i've wanted to see for a long time, and now finally got the time to do it. And wow, what a movie. The story, the editing, the filming is just amazing and perfect. And the job Colin Firth does with his role! Wow, very well deserved Oscar! The best role of his life IMO. And the other people in the movie was just amazing aswell, behind the scenes and the other actors too. For me this was perfect made movie.. I Loved every second of it! It is one of the best movies i've watched so far this year! I cant recommand it highly enough!

My Review:
Usually i'm not a big fan of comedys. It is so easy to mess up a comedy from good to real bad. So i dont have high expectations when it comes to comedys. (Jim Carrey is a person i really love, when it comes to comedys. He's about it.)
But this movie started of red hot, and hilarious.. Made me laugh alot, the story was cute aswell. But the movie lost its pace a bit, but Mila and Justin made it work. And the lines was pretty fun at times too. And even with the laughs, the movie had its serious points aswell. For me this was a easy and cheap fun. And it never hurts to see Mila Kunis naked! ;)
A comedy i recommand for some easy fun and laughs :)

4/6

I liked this also. It was better than "No Strings Attached" which was very similar and came out at around the same time. Love the cameos from Emma Stone and Andy Samberg is this as Kunis' and Timberlakes' partners.
