I am not much of a fan either. Not sure why though. I first came aware of her when I first saw Veronica Mars, and I didn't like her. Not sure if it was just because of her character or if it was more to it.

Hehe, i dont know whats with me and bad actors. I've seen Seyfried do worse. I think she did a good job in this one actually. And i am a fan of both Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson (Hermine;) ) and its well known that alot of people dont like them either.

Plot:

My Review:
Well, that was actually a great movie. A movie about with alot of power, dirty cops. And how drugs happy funtimes you up really. Doesnt matter if you work with the president or you are a lowlife. And the solid cast in this one delivered a great performance. Wich i kinda expected with names like Del Toro, Douglas, Zeta Jones (nice to see her again) Dont do that too often these days. A great thriller trough and trough, with a bit of runningtime but you dont even notice that before the movies is over. This is ofc recommanded!

My Review:
So, finally after ages in my unwatched pile i watched it! And being a fan of the game of 'pool' made the movie even better for me. Great B&W movie about how a Hustler is trying to Hustle his way to big bucks trough playing pool. And we get some great moments in the movie. Some ups and some downs. And we got some good acting aswell. If you enjoy a good movie or just enjoy a B&W movie, this is highly recommanded!

What a great film this is.  And along with Paul Newman i think Jackie Gleason was brilliant.  This film always reminds me of The Cincinnati Kid.  Don't know why but maybe just the storylines and the grittiness  of the films.

Both The Hustler and The Cincinnati Kid are great movies! And for some reason I don't have The Cincinnati Kid. That needs to be rectified.

I think you are right Achim.  Overall The Hustler is the better film more gritty and maybe better characters.  I think The Cincinnati Kid is one of McQueen's best works.  And Edward G. Robinson was very good.  But yeah .. overall The Hustler.

My Review:
This was a movie i wanted to check out, ever since i knew about it. I really enjoyed the original Evil Dead. Aand i guess maby i expected a bit more. The movie had its moments here and there, a few good scare moments too. But thinking back to the first original movie, they took the oportunity. I feel that they could have done a bit more in this one. If you havent seen the original but just want to check out this, i guess its an ok horror movie. But as a remake they could have done just a bit more. Not more than avrage.

My Review:
This is one of my favorite Disney Classics. Almost up there with movies like Lion King. I've always enjoyed this one. But never seen it in HD. So when i found it on sale, i just had to get it. And IMHO they did a great job with the tranfser. Both the picture and sound is much better from the DVD.I always get in a good mood when watching it. What Disney has done with their classics is amazing. (Almost perfect) This is a must have and a must see. Well worth a doubledip.

If I double dip on The Jungle Book I'll get the Swedish release so I can get the Swedish dub as well as the original. I usually don't care for Swedish dubs, but this one is great. Probably the best Swedish dub of any Disney feature.

I agree with you there, but for me its the Norwegians ofc. But if you upgrade to the Blu, i dont think you would be disappointed (I havent seen the Swedish version) but if you liked the DVD version, you will also enjoy this

My Review:
This was a blindbuy after i read a review of the movie. The movie is based on a true story about a serialkiller in Alaska, who kidnapped, raped and killed his victims. And the movie put us trough a journey where we follow a determined cop and a brave vitness. And we see the hunt on one of the worst serialkillers out there. The Cop in charge played by Nic Cages does a great job. And so does Vanessa Hudgens as one of the suriveres. A great thriller with this dark story, with some great acting. This thriller is highly recommanded.

The Jungle Book is my favorite Disney cartoon (granted, I haven't seen all of the classics). So far I have stuck with DVD, even on the more recent releases. I worry if I upgrade The Jungle Book, and then maybe Aladdin, I may keep going
