BUT for a blu-ray, (i havent seen the DVD, so cant say anything) but the picture quality was bad for a bluray. No HD, no widescreen. And the sound? Well, blarh.
It's a "found footage" film where the protagonists use a 16mm camera(?), bad image quality simply comes with the territory... Similar movies made later on could give the characters digital HD cameras, so we have come to expect better image quality...

My Review:
Well, going in to this movie i didnt know much really. Just heard great things about it. And i have to say, the movie was a bit different that i expected it to be. But in my humble opinion this was a great action\suspence movie. A interesting story\plot. A lot of things happening in this movie, so you cant move away for a second, you will miss something. Something new happening in a every corner. Wich is always great. But at the same time, you was wondering, 'whats next' and with both Rosamund Pike (wich was nice to see again btw!) and Tom Cruise in good form. It was a great mix. A movie that i would watch again. And a movie that i truly enjoyed. I think they could do the ending a bit better. But thats just me. But all in all, a great actionflick. That i recommand you guys to watch! (And i'm not even a fan of Tom Cruise)

My Review:
Well, i just watched this yesterday with some good friends of mine. And i didnt know what to expect really. But it was a bit different than i thought it would be. I saw what they tried to do with the whole thing. With a good story. And the movie had its moments here and there. But for me, to make this a great movie. It had too many flaws in the story and the plot. But the movie told a story loud and clear. And i got that. But for the movie all in all. Its an avarge action\suspence movie. Check it out for a cheap penny. Not a movie i would pay full price for.

My Review:
So this one too i've been watching in between things. A match here, a match there etc. And for this dvdset i have to admit that i was a bit dissapointed. Every wrestlingfan knows about the 'WM streak' and the legend knows as 'Undertaker' so i hoped\thought maby that we would get more 'interviews' or some more of the story behind it all. But all we got from that was some of his 'Victims' as they called them. But for the matches in this one. There are some incredible matches. (Maby even the greatest match to date?) So thats always nice. But i guess they could do a bit more on this. But again, for wrestling fans. I would recommand you guys to check it out. You might like it.

Title: Citizen Kane: 70th Anniversary Edition
Year: 1941
Director: Orson Welles
Rating: PG
Length: 119 Min.
Video: Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio: Engelsk: DTS-HD Master Audio: Mono, Portugisisk: Dolby Digital: Mono, Polish: Dolby Digital: Mono, Kommentar: Dolby Digital: Mono, Kommentar: Dolby Digital: Mono
Subtitles: Czech, Engelsk, Fransk, Greek, Hungarian, Portugisisk, Romanian, Spansk

Stars:
Joseph Cotten
Dorothy Comingore
Agnes Moorehead
Ruth Warrick
Ray Collins (1889)
Erskine Sanford

Plot:
In May of 1941, RKO Radio Pictures released a controversial film by a 25-year-old, first-time director. That premiere of Orson Welles' 'Citizen Kane' was to have a profound and lasting effect of the art of motion pictures. It has been hailed as the best American film ever made, and it's as powerful a film today as it was fifty years ago. It earned eight Academy Award nominations and won the Oscar for Best Screenplay.

Through its unique jigsaw-puzzle storyline, inventive cinematography, brilliant ensemble acting, and direction by Welles, the story of Charles Foster Kane is a fascinating portrait of America's love of power and materialism, and the corruption it sometimes fosters. Like all great films, 'Citizen Kane' is a memorable fusion of cinematic art and marvellous entertainment.

My Review:
Going in to this movie i didnt know much. Watched the trailer, and heard some different stuff about it. So i tried to keep my expactations low. And i have to say what a masterpiece of a movie it was! I didnt know much about the story or anything. And it kinda blew me away. Everything from the story and plot of the movie. To the people behind the cameras. It was (for me) perfectly done! A B&W movie, from the 'early' days. And i did pull it of perfectly! I dont have much else to say then what a masterpiece! A movie that i cant recommand any higher! A movie that i will watch again and again!

They couldn't make it anymore boring. ;)

I really like Citizen Kane and I have a lot of respect for what it has done for cinema and how great it is from a technical aspect, but IMO, this drags quite badly. I much prefer Welles in The Third Man and A Touch of Evil.

My Review:
Wow.. i've heard great things about this one. But didnt see any trailers, didnt know what it was about. But they have a supersale on new movies at one of the local stores here. And i decided why not. And going in to this one, knowing nothing. I have to just say first off, what a great movie! A movie that is based on a true story. A great story that is. A real great cast, that worked really well together. Always anything happening in the movie. And for me its interesting to see how the 'good cops' work against the 'bad cops' and the mob. To get a sivil and legal country. And its interesting to see how much power the gangsters have, both over police, judges, all kinds of people they got in theire pockets. And i kinda got 'this is the real deal' vibe. For me, just a perfect gangster movie really. For me, i cant recommand it any higher!

To quote the great Ray J. Johnson ... " "My name is Raymond J. Johnson, Jr. Now you can call me Ray, or you can call me J, or you can call me Johnny, or you can call me Sonny, or you can call me Junie, or you can call me Junior; now you can call me Ray J, or you can call me RJ, or you can call me RJJ, or you can call me RJJ Jr. but you doesn't hasta call me Johnson!"

Or another comedians take (who i can't remember) "You can call me anything ... just don't call me late for dinner"
Thank you

My Review:
After watching and enjoying the first two movies in this 'series' i decided i had to check this one out aswell. And aswell as the first movies, i liked the first best. For alot of reasons. But this movie was allright. Not the most original storyline\plot. But some cool car chases. And some great actionscenes. And the movie had its moments here and there. And after watching this movie, i have to wonder if there will be a movie number 4?! All in all, its a fun and cheap entertainment. If you enjoyed the first 2 movies. You should check this one out aswell. And some cool extras aswell, wich is well worth checking out.

My Review:
So, after hearing alot of great things about this one. And picking up 2 Oscars (i think it was) and seeing the trailer. I had to watch. And today me and some friends checked it out. And where to start? The story\plotline was catching. Had me glued to the tv trough out the movie. Something happening all the time. If you looked away, you missed something. And the crew? Wow, amazing job by most of them. And what to say about Jamie Foxx? Great! So was Leo IMO. And what is a Tarantino movie without some great blood scenes? Was a few of them aswell. (wich is a must in a Tarantino movie!) That mixed with some comedy here and there. And that with the music they used in some of the scenes. Perfect! I really really loved this movie actually! They just pulled it of perfectly! Its on my top 3 list of best watched movies this year. A movie that i cant recommand any higher really! Check it out!

It all looked so damn real. A real good and powerful movie and story about what happend. Told by Naomi and McGregor in a real great way. This is a movie that i really enjoyed.
