My Review:
This was a movie that i was looking forward to check out actually. Both because i usually like Brad Pitt's work, and i really like the mafia\gangster genre. And with the cast in this movie i expected me a bit too much i guess. The story wasnt too original (but you cant expect that anymore) So i'm fine with that. But something was missing for me. For the movie and the story of it. The movie was a bit too slow. And a few missed opportunites. And as Brad Pitt in this. Well, i think he could have done a bit more with it. As could everyone else. But its not all bad. The movie had its moments. It did. And there was some good spots here and there. But for a 'mafia\gangster' movie it wasnt the best i've seen. But IMO if you dont have any expactions going in. You might like it. I recommand you to check it out, if you find it for a cheap penny. I guess i expected more from the cast and crew in this one. Thats all. But still an ok movie.

My Review:
So, after watching 'The Oscars' and seeing trailers etc of this movie. I decided i had to check it out. And i'm just more and more a fan of Jennifer Lawrence's work! And after she won 'The Oscar' for the leading part. That did it. And i guess i kinda had some expactations going in to this movie. With the buzz around it. But what a movie it was! A movie that was both real strong with a strong story. But also a great comedy! With just some perfectly landed lines! And the movie talked about a serious issue with both a light and dark tone. (They mixed it in perfectly!) And for Jennifer's Oscar win.. Let me just say this. Well deserved IMO! Both Robert De Niro and Brad Cooper was amazing aswell! This might just be my favourite movie this year! And ofc, i couldnt recommand it higher!

My Review:
That was an interesting movie i have to say..It was a blind buy really. So i didnt know much going in to this one. But the movie was actually good. A good story about the dirty cops in Brazil and Rio. And the work to remove the dirty cops and the dirty people in the suits. And we got to see the war between the honest guys vs the criminals. And i really liked how they did it. Not too much over to the top. A 'kinda real' feel to it. And thats good. But again, there was a few things in the movie that i think was a bit too much. And a few things that i felt didnt belong there. And that drags the movie down a bit. But i would say it was an allright actionmovie with alot of stuff happening. And i would say, if you find it or a cheap penny. Check it out.

My Review:
Well, that was a cool action movie. Going in to this one, i actually had my expactations up a bit. A great cast, and a cool trailer. And i actually have to say that with a interesting\cool story like the movie had. And with both John Travolta and Salma Hayek i expected maby a bit more from them. (i hoped i would see a Travolta in form like we saw in 'From Paris With Love' or Pulp Fiction) but we didnt. But there was a few good spots in the movie, that i really enjoyed. And there was stuff happening all the time. But for me personally, i wouldnt mind if the movie ended at the 2hour mark. It didnt need a 2hr 20min running time IMO. But as a actionflick it did its purpose. Oh, just one thing tho. Whats up with John Travoltas hair?! But for the movie. I would recommand you guys to check it out.

My Review:
I just have to say that what a movie! I remember i watched this aages ago on dvd when it first came out! And i've wanted to check it out on blu for awhile. And now i finally got the time. And the movie is still as great as i remember it to be! The story got you glued to the screen trough out the movie. The hunt on the treasure. The visual efects etc. Great! An ok cast that did an ok job! And i have to say that they did a great job with the upgrade from DVD to Blu. Well done! A few minor details here and there that i didnt quite 'get' other than that. Almost a perfect movie! Looking forward to check out the movie number 2 in the series sometime! And this is ofcourse highly recommanded to check out!

Well, i'm not sure actually if i've seen this one before. Dont remember much from it anyways. Again, what a great movie! A bit different story this time around. But still real interesting. Really liked what they did with it. And again they had me glued to the screen. There is something about those movies that i cant explain. They just take me on a adventure! Just amazing. The efects, the solid cast. The details that makes the movieseries even better. Just great fun trough and trough really! Its a movie that is very well done IMO. That i ofc highly recommand you guys to check out! And it got some cool extras aswell. Worth checking out.

My Review:
So i just watched this one, and the follow up with two good friends of mine. Just going to write a quick review of them both before going to bed. This movie is actually a good movie. A movie about rich people getting what they want. Poor people pretending to be rich. And people that get mixed up in some bad buisness and some real bad people. And need to make his choises there after. And this Swedish movie takes us on a good journey, of both money, greed, jealousy. Murder, betrayl. A few good spots in the movie actually. Some good acting here and there. A good story, that they did good things with. But (for me) the movie went on a bit too long. And it was slow in some places. And there was some spots in the movie that i didnt have a clue why even was there. (Maby thats just me) But all in all, a good Swedish action movie. That i recommand you Scandinavias out there to check out.

My Review:
And for the second movie in this 'series' was a good follow up actually. You get to follow some of the main characters from the first movie. After everything that happend in the first one. And it makes for a good and real interesting movie. The plot is strong. The acting is a bit better than last time. And this movie answers a few quastions. And take some of the characters in some places and situations they have never been before. (Quite good actually) Again a good action movie mixed with some good suspence. A movie that i again recommand for all the Scandinavians out there. Thats it for now guys.

My Review:
Well, that was actually an allright horror movie. A good story, some ok acting. They made it look very 'real' like it actually was amateurs just playing around with a camera. And alot of crazy shiitake mushroom happend in those woods! So for the movie itself, it was a good one! BUT for a blu-ray, (i havent seen the DVD, so cant say anything) but the picture quality was bad for a bluray. No HD, no widescreen. And the sound? Well, blarh. So for you guys that have the DVD i wouldnt upgrade it i guess (dont know what i'm talking about really) but it wasnt real 'bluray' quality over this. But still a good horrorflick. A horrorflick that you guys should check out. With some cool extras aswell!

Well, the sequel certainly isn't great (IMO), but I gave them points for trying. Rather than just rehashing the same recipe (despite everyone knowing the trick now) they tried to made a "regular" movie.

While Blair Witch's concept isn't original, they did execute it well and it was quite eerie in parts. Very few concepts are still original these days. So sure, The Last Broadcast did almost exactly the same few years before and of course Cannibal Holocaust came "decades" before that (are there earlier examples...?).

I should rewatch Blair Witch to see how it holds up for me.
