Topic: Game: Semi-important movie plot points

The first user mentions a plot point that is only of limited importance to the overall plot of a movie and yet without it, it wouldn't have worked.
The next user knows the movie and continues to give the next clue for another movie.
Of course you can google, but I think it's more fun if you scratch your brain for the information.

Given your hint that Bruce Willis is in it this is obviously The Sixth Sense. The answer to the question should therefore be:
He was trying to do all the things unsuccessfully which should clue us in on another plot point later on.

Of course on first viewing we think he just talks little and listens a lot. However, later we realize that the women didn't know he was there and the door could not actually be touched by him.

I looked through my collection and while I am sure I understand the concept of the game I could not come up with a single idea for the next question
