Deadman's Curve
« on: May 13, 2012, 02:03:24 AM »
I'm sitting here listening some Jan & Dean music... don't laugh I found them awesome as a surf group certainly better than The Beach Boys were (not as good as Dick Dale, but no one was anyway...). So to make a long story short, a TV movie I've seen when I was a kid mostly about the car accident that almost killed Jan Berry (ironically at Deadman's Curve) come to my mind and according to imdb it isn't on DVD. But imdb list what is available on Amazon and not everything, so anyone had an idea if this film is available somewhere? Maybe a studio MOD DVD as some TV movies were released that way

BTW if you don't know the band, because I think Kathy is the only one here who will have a clue of what I'm talking about

While it has Richard Hatch and Bruce Davison I think the fact that it's a TV movie makes chances rather slim to find it on DVD. Only big well known stuff like Salem's Lot gets to live the digital life, ths seems slightly more obscure...

I own some old vinyl with Jan and Dean. I believe my cousin gave me the albums in the late 60s or early 70s.

If invelos had vinyl profiler I could check now. I wonder if I should request this in the forums?!?

I'll have to see when I get out of work tomorrow.

Thanks! A little bit costly for a bootleg, but I keep it in mind if it doesn't get a legitimate release.
