What'ya got? - The Other One
« on: April 06, 2012, 10:22:33 AM »
A few days ago I got an itch and I just had to scratch it. Now I basically have a new computer. :)

I already had a 128 GB SSD (these new hard drives without moving parts which are way faster).

And now I got

CPU: Intel i5 with 4 cores à 3.1 GHz
Motherboard with SATA 3 and USB 3.
8 GB RAM
Graphics card with 1024 MB RAM.

DVD Profiler with 3835 profiles opens in 10 seconds flat. :)

Congrats...
It is great getting a new computer... isn't it? I was shocked when I got mine and my DVD Profile (6,247 profiles) opens in 15 seconds!

EDIT:
Actually once I clicked on the ALL tab... I have 6,404 profiles.  :bag:

Nice!

Just two annotations:
- Move the rear-chassis fan to the front (air in!), this way preventing the air-stream of the CPU-fan to interfere with the chassis stream.
- Why didn't you change the optical drive to an SATA drive?

I did. The picture was taken before. As you can see the IDE cable is dangling free in there ;)

Erm, they're rotating in the same direction, thereby creating a single-direction airstream? On the front there's a third fan.
