Cindy's Saved Day
« on: November 24, 2011, 04:45:07 PM »
Today marks exactly 10 years since I took in my cat Cindy...that is her with me in my profile photo.  When we don't know a pet's birthdate we celebrate their "saved" day...the day we took them in.  Ten years ago, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I took a long drive to pick her up.  During the ride back home, she spent about half the trip back hiding underneath the car seat.  But by the time we got back to my town, she was walking around on my shoulders.  She was about 6 months old at the time.  It was a pretty long trip...about 100 miles each way...but I've never regretted making that journey.

Happy SAVED DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I took in my Baby Girl "CRICKET" in May of 1996.  She was "A WEDDING PRESENT" from my sister who worked at the local Rescue League.  She outlasted my marriage by almost a decade now.  I love that little girl with all my heart.  Our Furry Friends are some of our dearest.  Glad your so happy with Cindy :)
