Now only the recent topics list needs to be fixed on the main page and I am happy :)

Better?

A little.
I think in the past the font was smaller (similar to the font size of the topics in the forum).
And either the topic or the user name was bold (I don't remember). Anyway, you could distinguish them.

I cannot put my finger on it. But currently it seems cluttered.

I think it was the username which was bold. It looked similar to the "Recent" box in the link you provided in your last post. So somehow it must be possible, as they use the same engine.

You are homing in.

To make it perfect: The "recent topic"- list is now significantly smaller (vertically) than it was. Could you give it more height again, so that all in the list can be read without having to scroll?

You are getting better and better.

Just a little bit more, please.

Use a proper browser. In Firefox the height is sufficient already.  :tease:

Not about the browser... I use Firefox and still see the scroll bar.

Probably the resolution being used. I have an old computer and bad eyes... so 1024 X 768 is the best I can do and still be able to see what I am looking at without terrible headaches.

Front page looks familiar again, thanks for that.

Didn't even take that long. Job well done, Karsten!

My only issue is that there's a blank column on the left all the time on all pages.

I seem to remember that we had a three column design and it looks like the right hand one has been disabled, so column 1 (e.g., the recent posts on the front page) and the main centre column 2 (posts, topic lists, etc) have been shifted over, creating the space on the left.

I'm sure there was a third column of links on the right hand side of the front page and in topics/new posts, wasn't the centre column fixed width, but centred?

Ah, but when you lot were talking about it, mine still looked like it used to, so I ignored you!  I could have sworn there was a third column anyway...  :hmmmm:
