Andy Serkis has signed on for "multiple future installments". Director  of Rise of the Planet of the Apes Rupert Wyatt is also signed for the sequel:

I haven't seen the latest but heard many good things. Saying that, it can't be more disappointing than Burton's effort really... :tease:
