This is what Del Toro has moved on to with Legendary Pictures seen as Unibversal shitcanned The Mountains of Madness. It's written by Travis Beacham who wrote Clash of the Titans and the brief synopsis is:

Mountains isn't completely dead, it just was never quite as far along as we thought. Universal are in the same position they've been in for a while : cautious!

I like the sound of this though. He needs to do something otherwise he'll turn into another Gilliam, cursed on every project.

Agree with this. Gilliam is a damn genius. One day... one day... we may see that Don Quixote film. Have you seen Lost in La Mancha? Fantastic documentary.
