I just got married!

It's funny because .. I'm a Khajiit .. She's a Nord .. Guess our children would look something like this;)

You know, I don't even know why they put it in. I mean, after all, there's no real interaction. Your "wife" can open a shop, and then you can pick up your share of the profits, and that's about it. Oh yeah, she can cook you a "homemade meal" once a day.

And you can't marry Lydia

I hadn't realized you could play as those different looking races in the game.

You know, I thought dragon encounters would get boring after a while, but I still find them just as exhilarating as the first one! It may have something to do with the fact that as an assassin I'm a glass canon. I can dish out a lot of damage .. but I need to manage to sneak to you.. other than that, I'm toast. And since I don't use a follower much nowadays, it makes dragons quite fearsome indeed.

I just met he guy who tells us how to get married lat night. Now I must get that necklace and than I get married too. I think the income from the shop is the main incentive.

Wow, talk about exaggerated use of colorful words and offensive terms.

I wonder if he cheated though? In the seond half you see him type the name of the items he creates, so it appears he plays on PC. Also he performs a few two-punch kills which I am not sure should be possible. But in general, it definitely seems Bethesda considered melee a lot, it looks cool when he grabs the shoulders of enemies to hold them in place while punching. The advantage would be, you don't carry any weapon, so you can carry tons and ons of loot!

Only minor spoilers, I think... You must go to Riften. There you can find a priest of Mara(?) who tell you all about it. After that it seems you still must obtain a necklace and then you can go out to find your spouse.

Oh, I finally got my sneak high enough and can approach people undetected. Chose the dagger perk and must say it is not only satisfying but also helpful! Had trouble with an enemy who kept killing me. Finally decided to sneak up and Bam!, one-hit kill  I worked my way up from steel daggers to Dwarven to Elven and purchased my first Glass dagger last night.

I was just thinking about this myself yesterday! That being good at sneaking and assassinating people had the drawback that you might not perform in open battles as much. So I will try to keep mixing it up. For example hat my Destruction had fallen behind.

I am now level 28, so I think I better start panning my perk trees and stop being overly random, since you must take perks in order and therefore need certain amounts for ome of tose that are far back in a tree...

Seems legit to me. Like he says, once you get the gauntlet perk, smith the daedric gauntlet and enchant them with unarmed damage, if you power attack, there are some enemies you could kill with 2-punches.

As for renaming his gear, you can do that too! Well, i can on Xbox. It's when you enchant an item. Before pressing whatever buttong to enchant, look at the bottom of the screen, there should be a button for rename item. I remember enchanting a Supple Ancient Bow with Fire damage, and I named it Skorm's Bow

Well, New Vegas could be played "Unarmed" (melee only), I guess ths would be the "natural" progression of that.

I was thinking of adding the question if we can do that in there but forgot :slaphead: Thanks, I'll be looking or that option next time I'm enchanting stuff.

I looked at my save file earlier. It said I already played 50+ hours. His come I still have the feeling I have barely scratched the surface...

Yeah I know! The amount of content in this game is completely insane! And to think, the whole games fits on less than 4GB (3.8GB for a full install on Xbox)!! Take that multiple disc games riddled with cutscenes.. yeah I'm looking at you J-RPGs ;)

I got a new Bejeweled game for my DS yesterday.  It is officially titled Bejeweled 3.  I like it better than the previous game for the DS which was Bejeweled Twist.

Ah right yer sum1 mentioned to me about havin the necklace of mara (or along that line) to get married.I havent actually been to riften yet.but Ive picked up the necklace along me travels out and about.Ill visit Riften at some point.
Today I finally finished off the companions missions , and after alot of thinkin ,I joined them fully and now im a werewolf.Hopefully I made a good choice lol.so far I cant see any downsides to bein a werewolf apart from havin to re-equip everything again once you change back to human form

The only "downside" from being a werewolf is that you don't get the "Rested" and "Well Rested" bonus after sleeping. But those are just a small bonus to your skill increase during play (5% and 10% respectively), so no biggie

Yes, I noticed yesterdaqy that the Amulet of Mara can also be found elsewhere (in fact, I had two in my inventory at the same time). Not sure if the effects of equipping it will only happen after you talked to the guy in Riften. If so, I still need to find him again, as I had to reload after I found him the first time and he hasn't showed up since

You have to have spoken to the priest at the Temple of Mara about marriage. Then you have to equip the Amulet of Mara, to show that you are available, and then talk to whoever you want to marry. Just know that you usually have to do something for the person before they'll be interested. For example, if you want to marry Ysolda, you have to find her a mammoth tusk. If you want to marry Jenassa, you have to hire her. If you want to marry Uthgerd the Unbroken, you have to beat the pulp out of her.

Here's the list of potential partners

Where do I find the priest...? First time I met him he was thrown out of the pub. But I had to reload and now he never comes drinking anymore  Can I go and find him somewhere? I checked the doors on the map and none of them is labeled Temple of Mara ???

I looked through the list of names and I hardly recognize any of them  Do you know if there is any difference regarding the shop they will open? The Wiki says they only open a shop if tey move to another city, so if they stay in the same city they won't...? Do you know this? [Read some more in the Wiki and got most of my questions answered.]
