Question to all you TV lovers!
« on: September 22, 2011, 04:45:21 AM »
There are so many new shows this year that I'm interested in .. so I was wondering, is there a website or something somewhere that I could just say "i want to follow this show, that show, this show and that show" and then get notifications when new episodes air?

I know I know, I could manually enter each show in my own calendar, but then I'd have to constantly check when the season ends and stuff .. I'd really like some sort of automated system, if at all available.

If there is one, I don't know about it.

My friend Abel has something like that on his iPhone. I could ask him if you got one , too.

Here is the IPHONE Software.

TV Forecast

It's called TV Forecast.

I know there was a website app that did it too once called "SERIESLY" but they are no longer running.  I think there is one other and I'll try and find it.

Hope that helps.

Seb I think you may be interested in looking at the TV Listings on Zap2it.com.  It doesn't go as far as emailing you when new episodes are coming up but once you create an account (which is free), you can:

Set your TV Provider so you only see your tv grid.
Set your preferred channels list which allows you to only see a grid for the channels you like.
Set your favorite shows which appear in your calendar.

As I said, it won't send emails, you'll need to login and check your calendar but at least you won't have to keep it up to date yourself.
