He appeared on Facebook an hour or so ago, so he's online somewhere!

So hopefully that means he's recovering!  :)

Hello, everyone.  I just stepped in here for the first time since getting out of the hospital.  As Pete said, I am currently out of the hospital and staying with my brother's family for a few days.  Yes, he has a computer.  My only problems right now are a bit of a cough...and the fact my chest hurts some when I cough which I guess is a result from them beating on my chest to revive me when I stopped breathing.  That's why I'm awake now...I found it difficult to sleep for long with this condition.  Hopefully, the pain in my chest will eventually subside.

By the way, when I got out of the hospital yesterday, we stopped at my home so I could feed my cats...and I found a package waiting for me.  If I remember correctly, that package includes Seasons 11-13 of The Simpsons on DVD and Blu-ray copy of Watchmen.

Glad to see you back

Find a firm pillow that you can carry and keep it with you. Every time you feel a cough coming on, squeeze it against your chest instead of worrying as much about covering your mouth. Works wonders.

Thanks again, guys.  I have tried Blair's pillow suggestion and it seems to help a little.  I am about to start watching the Super Bowl at my brother's...go, Steelers!  I plan to return home tomorrow since I am scheduled for dialysis at my local dialysis center tomorrow.  I'll see then if I can really function by myself.  If I need to return to my brother's home for a few more days, I am sure they would welcome me back.  But I think I am finally ready to return home.  :thanks:
