HELP!!

Hello all-

Im getting to ready to buy a new computer today,and was wondering if I have to buy and install a new version of the dvdprofiler,or is it tranferable to the new computer??...If its transferable,how do I do it??...Thanks in advance for any help!!

First, make a backup of your database.

You do not need to "buy" a new copy.  You can simply download the program from the DVDP site and install it.  You will need to know the name you used when you registered originally, and you'll need your registration key.  If you don't know what it is, you can go on the DVDP website and click on 'Registration>My Registrations' and it will be displayed for you.

Once you've installed the software, just do a "Restore" of the backup file you created previously.

In addition to what Hal said:

You'll find the Backup/Restore option in the File menu of DVDP.

And to make sure the backup won't be corrupted, please do a database repair before you backup.

You'll find it under Tools->Options->Utilities->Repair Profile Database
