A new super-hero TV series debuts tonight.  It begins at 9pm on NBC channels in the U.S. and will then move to Monday nights next week at 9pm.  I don't like that timeslot, though, because it means it'll be opposite something I already watch at that time.  I've only seen a very short promo so I've no idea yet what the series will be like.  From what I gather from what someone sent to an e-mail list I belong to, some guy goes undercover for some reason and decides to disguise himself as his son's favorite comic book character.  No Smallville or No Ordinary Family plainclothes for this guy...he gets to wear an actual costume.  :tv:

I've seen some trailers about this one.  I'm not sure I'll watch it yet or not...I haven't decided yet.

Is this the show about the wife that can run really fast? I saw a promo the other night for a show that looked like it was about super heroes living in a suburban environment.

No..that one is No Ordinary Family.  The whole family has powers after an accident.

I've seen a few promos and it's hard to tell if it's any good. While it's nice to have Summer Glau in a new series, early reviews weren't very promising.

Ok that's good, because that show looks terrible.

No Ordinary Family is one I watch every week... I enjoy it quite a bit... I am a fan of Julie Benz anyway.

I was having internet problems yesterday... so didn't get to see this thread in time to watch (or record) it last night. Going by the promos I wasn't so sure if I wanted to see this one (The Cape) or not anyway. But curious if it was any good or not.

It had two episodes back to back.
It repeats tomorrow at 9-11 PST
and then starts it's "regular" spot
the following Monday at 9 pm PST.
Adjust your times accordingly.

I watched the two episode primere and enjoyed it.
I will follow it for a while and see if it holds my interest.

Supposed to be available on NBC.com, don't know if our
non-north american friends can access that.
