You just have a few more issues.

 

I don't set out to crease the spines when I read a book.  Most of mine probably aren't.  But some of my favorites are creased.  I don't fold down the corners of pages anymore.  I never did that very much.  I've seen people practically fold the page in half..made me cringe.
I will use just about any piece of paper or receipt as a bookmark.

I have found some real gems picking up an old book and finding whatever I'd used as a bookmark previously.  Not sure if I've found money yet or not.  But probably!

TV series without a Play All function. I know... it takes little to wait for the menu and click play on the next episode. But I really like to be able to set it to play automatically when the option is there.

Overlapping discs is another thing that always bugged me. I see no reason to do this. Just give us the cases where there is 2 discs per thinpak... can't get much thinner then that. I even seen lately where they get 6 discs in a standard sized keepcase! That is much better... saves lots of room on the shelf!

I do like the play all function for tv shows too.  I always do that when I first watch a disc for a tv show.  If I want to watch a specific episode, then I'll go to the episode list.

I'm an oddball.  I don't like Play All.  I'd rather go to that episode, see the title and whatever else the menu shows.  I have no problem just hitting play again.  Still, I know it's a very popular feature, so it's nice to see it there.

Films without subtitles drive me crazy!!

my best friend is partly deaf, if we watch a film with no subtitles all the way through he says "what did he say?.... what did she say?" :/ I have found that tv series by the company Playback seem to lack subtitles :/ I even sent them an email... which they ignored...

I'm with you Emma! One of my favorite TV shows (Homicide: Life on the Street) has no subtitles and I find that show really hard to understand at times.  Drives me nuts.  I don't always turn them on, but I love having the option!

Being a french speaker having them help sometimes some of the accents are hard to understand (Australia I'm talking of you) and I would certainly like to have everything with subtitles or close caption. But create them for a dvd release cost a lot of money (and I really mean it) and with the hard time that some companies meet actually I can understand that subtitles aren't a big priority.

What about New Zealand accents? Actually that's not really an accent, it's more of a speech impediment. 

I like the Canadian accent, it's easy to understand what they're talking aboot eh.

8 ) It's my fault due to person preference, but I watch all of my DVDs on my computer, and on my computer I have always used AutoPlay and likely always will.  90% of the time it's no big deal, but I can't stand on that last 10% that I can't stop the AutoPlay from asking me if I want to install (or update) the software related to showing DVD-ROM content. If I say "no" then it asks me again next time. If I say "yes" then I can't keep it from loading the personalized software.

Not so hard to understand for the few films I have from there (This Quiet Earth being the only one I can think of right now). I can't imagine watching Wolf Creek without them... not that it was a worthy watching with them

One of the only accents I have trouble with are heavy Welsh ones. We know a lot of Welsh people living in our town but their accents have somewhat faded slightly over time, much easier to understand. Their family is down for Christmas however and it's a different story. I can understand all of the kids clearly, but the father has a bit of a mumble to his voice and none of us Australians can't really understand what he is saying. We try but a lot of the time we just end up nodding and smiling at what he says.

The uk has very diverse dialects considering the size of the country. I live in Nottingham, but neighboring Derbyshire has a history of language akin to Yorkshire. It can be very broad and tough to follow. Then you have Liverpool, Newcastle (Geordie), Manchester, South London ("sarf Landan"), East End and cockney. It'll be interestin' ow Pete gets on wiv Ali G, innit, wot wiv im bein' from Staines an' that, you get me?

And that's all before the bloody Welsh, Scottish and Irish!

Living in Coventry people outside of the Midlands often mistake us for brummies! even though we sound completely different

Does the Ali G releases have subtitles? 

Just looked at profiler... season 1 lists subtitles... season 2 don't. But the profiles leaves lots to be desired... so I don't trust either of the profiles.
