I celebrated Christmas early this year while my mom was in town.

I'm doing nothing but working this weekend. I'm pulling a 16 hour shift followed by a 6 hour break. Then I go in for 5 hours followed by a 5 hour break. Then I pull another 16 hour shift. I haven't decided if I'm just going to stay through on one or both of my breaks because I have an hour drive each way so I would only be able to catch a maximum of 4 or 5 hours of sleep.

Although she will have visitors a few hours a day, it will mostly be us spending the holidays together. I have some special things planned - dinner and desserts are all ready made - so I hope we have a good holiday together. Being the newest nurse, I was quite happy to find that my client wanted it to be me she wanted to spend Christmas with.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas. I hope you get to spend this time with friends and family. And, of course, I hope you get the DVDs on your wish list you wanted!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night staying up with a taser gun hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus breaking an entering tonight  :P
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

It sounds like you have nice things planned for her.  And it is nice that she wanted you to be there.

Drive careful.
