I use Wallpaper Juggler, so mine changes every 30 minutes to various wallpaper jpg's I have stored in a wallpaper folder.

I use Wallpaper Juggler, so mine changes every 30 minutes to various wallpaper jpg's I have stored in a wallpaper folder.

Windows 7 has the same function. You just choose a folder then set it to change every day, every week, every hour etc etc. You can also adjust it so that different wallpapers have different theme colours etc. I have a whole folder of wallpapers too, that's why I only posted my 'current' one since it changes so often.

Ah, the "twelve" apostles. These are a two hour drive from my house. Funnily enough though I have only actually seen them 3 or 4 times.

I do not put much effort in my desktop because I never see it. Only if I from time to time restart my PC. I do not work from the desktop. There are always other applications maximized. But anyway, attached my desktop I have had for years.
At work on my new Win7 PC I currently am using the India theme from Microsoft. But also there I hardly see the desktop, even if working with two monitors. I always have a lot of applications running.

One reason why I like this wallpaper is that it reminds me of my favourite travel destination.

Here's mine. As you can see, I have a problem with too many icons on the desktop

I've never been a fan of having too many icons on my desktop either. I now keep it at about 3 or 4 at the most. Although I used to be like you and just have none.

I've got too many icons on my desktop to show snapshot so I just give you a link to the wallpaper I'm using instead: Storm and light.
