TCM's Moguls & Movie Stars
« on: November 07, 2010, 08:40:02 PM »
I watched the first episode of this series last week, and found it very interesting.

I recommend it for anyone who would like to learn about films and film making pre-Jaws & Star Wars.

I'm so glad they are stopping in the mid-70's. It would be too depressing to see what has become of Hollywood since Spielberg, Lucas, Bay & Cameron.  :weep:

To use a metaphor... Spielberg is Obi-Wan, Bay is Anakin.  ;)

I like alot of Spielbergs films :p

...Heck, Transformers is a great 2 hour long commercial for toys! Bay should direct adverts... he would be awesome.

I saw this series advertised on the net.... although I don't think ill watch it because im pretty sure its not showing over here.
