A few years back I started a blog... but never did much with it. And once my computer crashed and I lost everything I couldn't figure out the username and password for it... or the email I signed up with. Well the other day I got back into my account... and I am wanting to start using it again.

I originally called it Diary of a DVD Addict... not sure I like that anymore... but not sure what I would change it to... or even if I can change it.

One thing I know... if I am going to do this. I post everything at a lot of places. But... while I will put some of the same stuff at the blog... I think I have to have some exclusive stuff there as well.

So I am thinking that I will have some exclusive reviews there (probably not a lot)... Other ideas I had...

For my weekend movie marathon I may make a weekly post with the theme... what I watched plus the ratings... and maybe the review for my favorite of the weekend.

Another idea I had is a daily DVD Spotlight... where I pick a random DVD from my collection each day... and highlight it. Talking about what it is and  what it comes with or what have you. Not an actual review... but more a bringing of a title to your attention type of thing. It could be something rare one day... and the next could be a mega-hit blockbuster... you never know.

Does any of this sound good... any other ideas?

Pete, I do like your ideas and hope you run with it.  It would be especially interesting if it was unique to the blog and not just something you copy from here.  I use the same site for blogging you do and I believe you can indeed change the name of your blog...though I've not changed mine in a long time.  I did change my subtitle awhile back, though.

Your reply made me realize I put this in the wrong place. I thought I put this in the general forum. 

I am sure some stuff will be the same... but there will definitely be stuff exclusive to the blog.

Even if I decide to change the name... I really don't have the slightest idea what I would change it to. So it will remain the same... at least until I come up with something I like better.

Exclusive is the most important thing to do. I will have to do the same soon when my first real serious blogger job (unpaid of course...) will begins. A company will become off-limit on my blog since I will work for them (kind of the same thing I do actually on my blog, but more dvd reviews than film reviews and more in depth analyse).

I work on this since last summer and I can't wait for the launching in the upcomming weeks
