Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: January 19, 1977

Posing as a French physicist, Jaime takes on a famed, aging scientist that creates a weapon that could end all forms of life on Earth and then places it in the control of a computer.

My Thoughts:
A good episode... but not what I would consider great. I have a feeling I will enjoy the next one (Part 2 of this story) more then I did this one though. As they set it up nicely.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: January 26, 1977

Jaime struggles to access and disarm the heavily guarded master computer, and the battle becomes desperate—and potentially deadly—when she sustains damage to her bionic limb.

My Thoughts:
This episode was much better. I really liked the whole Jaime vs the Alex 7000 computer. I just loved every minute of this one. It is almost twice as good as the part 1 of the story. I think the part of this one I enjoyed the most is when Jaime injured her leg... how she was able to fix it... and how the Alex 7000 tried to take advantage of the situation.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: February 2, 1977

When she awakens inside a prison cell, Jaime soon realizes that she has been switched with her surgically created look-alike, Lisa Galloway.

My Thoughts:
When I first started this episode I was extremely disappointed. While the background sound/music wasn't bad at all... all the dialog was muffled so badly I couldn't hear a word they were saying... no matter how high I turned up the volume. I literally had to turn on the subtitles to see what was being said. Thankfully this only lasted 9min and 30secs. I looked at the time when the audio came in right. But none the less... big disappointment there. So I went looking into this online to see if I had a bad copy or what. And turned out they are all like this. That the studio had to use a master that was bad or something like that... and they brought it in as much as possible. So no correction/exchange program available to fix this.

Beyond that problem... the episode itself is excellent! I loved every minute of it! It is another 2 part episode (yes... 2 two parters in a row)... so I really can't wait to see where they go with the story from here. There is a familiar face in this one. Katherine Helmond who played Mona on Who's the Boss plays a prison doctor.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: February 9, 1977

Jaime manages to escape from prison, but is unable to convince anyone. Including Oscar, of her real identity... or Lisa's.

My Thoughts:
An excellent conclusion to the storyline. I loved every minute of it. And it seems that this will be the last time we will see the "other" Jaime. I don't know what I liked more... the part where Jaime was on the run after escaping from jail... or the end where Jaime faced Lisa in her apartment. Probably the end. Thankfully there was no problems with the audio on this episode. There is six more episodes to go in the season... hopefully there won't be any more problems at all.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: February 23, 1977

A powerful Sha's life is endangered, and so Jaime goes undercover as a tutor working with his difficult son.

My Thoughts:
While this episode wasn't quite as good as the previous few... seeing Lindsay Wagner in that harem outfit is worth the rating alone. She definitely looked good! While watching this episode I thought the boy prince looked very familiar (see last image below). When I checked to see who he was I found out he was the teen in the original version of Salem's Lot. And I was a bit surprised to see he was even lucky enough to get a quick peck of a kiss on the lips from Lindsay Wagner in this episode. You know darn well that kid was enjoying his job that day.

While reviewing an episode on disc 4 of the season 2 set I mentioned...

That the studio had to use a master that was bad or something like that... and they brought it in as much as possible. So no correction/exchange program available to fix this.

Shortly after I wrote this... the studios apparently found (probably always had) a good master for the audio to fix the problem. And they did an exchange program after all. So did this. Yesterday the replacement disc arrived. Reminding me that I wanted to work more on this marathon. But before I do I want to put that replacement disc in and see how much better it is. :P

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: March 9, 1977

A withdrawn girl who has not spoken since her mother's death causes Jaime concern—but not as much as the youngster's father, who is scheming to steal a missile guidance system.

My Thoughts:
I liked this episode quite a bit. I especially enjoyed two different parts of this episodes. Early on I liked where Jaime took the survival course with the father... and how she surprised him with having everything done in no time... thanks to the help of her bionics. Then I also liked where she was trying to deal with the little girl... who proved to be a problem child in her own right. Made for an entertaining episode.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: March 16, 1977

An art forger named Pierre Lambert accompanies Jaime to Paris where their mission is to trap a master criminal and recover missing, valuable paintings.

My Thoughts:
This episode I didn't care too much for. I had a hard time getting into the story... and really didn't care for the characters. So this one was a little disappointing to me.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: March 23, 1977

Jaime's rancher friend, Thomas Bearclaw, begins to see a half-human, half-animal demon after he and his neighbor exhume an ancient carving from an American Indian burial ground on his property.

My Thoughts:
This episode was a little different in that she wasn't on a mission for the OSI. Instead she was just helping a friend in trouble. And I liked this episode much better. I got a kick out of how she solved the problem.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: March 30, 1977

Posing as a salvage crewmember, Jaime boards a World War II destroyer ship to investigate the discovery of a skeleton wearing the dog tags of Oscar's brother, Sam Goldman.

My Thoughts:
The first thing I thought when I read the plot to this episode is that Jaime will have to prove her strength and her worth to be on a salvage ship with these fools. While they didn't make her prove herself... they definitely gave her a hard time. Back in the mid '70s when this series was made... a woman having such a job would probably been unheard of. It is a decent enough episode... but I didn't care for it as much as most the episodes.

One thing I thought was weird was when Oscar asked for Jaime to help her out of friendship... as this was personal... she said she is glad to finally be able to help someone out of friendship as she only gets to use her bionics for the OSI or housework. But as I noted in just the last episode she was helping out a friend... an old college professor of hers. Seemed odd they made her say that after what the last episode was.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: May 4, 1977

In order to capture the leader of a large theft racket, Jaime masquerades as a bank robber—but then is blackmailed into participating in an actual heist.

My Thoughts:
This season two finale guest stars Elisha Cook. And he plays a fun character... bring a lot of comedy to this episode. I enjoyed it quite a bit. A fun story with a good ending.
