Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: September 19, 1976

When Steve Austin becomes the main suspect in a series of crimes that would require bionic strength, Jaime comes to his aid to stop the nefarious plot for world domination.

My Thoughts:
This first episode is a crossover episode of The Six Million Dollar Man which of course continues on the first episode of The Bionic Woman. In this episode Bigfoot is played by Ted Cassidy (Lurch on The Addams Family). Another familiar face in this one is Sandy Duncan.  This is a good episode. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Kept interest enough to make me want to go straight to the next episode.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: September 19, 1976

In an effort to save Steve from a grim fate, Jaime attempts to outrun the Sasquatch in order to retrieve a miracle serum from friendly extraterrestrials.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this continuation of the previous storyline even more then the first part. For some reason it was even more fun to see Jaime going up against Sasquatch then it was to see Steve vs. him. Being part 2 it had all the same guest stars as the last episode. I thought the way the episode ended was a little convenient... but I enjoyed the episode so much that it really didn't matter to me any at all.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: September 29, 1976

Jaime hits the professional wrestling mats to find a missing undercover OSI agent, but she's dealt a blow when she discovers her competitors are working with foreign agents.

My Thoughts:
Jaime in the wrestling ring.... talk about fun! She looks hot as ever too! The Indian outfit was ok... but I really liked how she looked in what she wore when she first went to the auditorium. This episode didn't have too many faces I recognized... but there was one very familiar face... Norman Fell (Mr. Roper on Three's Company). Definitely a fun episode... I enjoyed ever second of it.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: October 6, 1976

There's plenty of high-seas suspense when Jaime poses as a blackjack dealer on a luxurious floating casino and finds her mission to retrieve stolen energy cells complicated by an old enemy.

My Thoughts:
This one has to be my least favorite episode of season 2 so far.  It is ok... but I felt it was a little on the slow and boring side. It was however, funny to see the return of the aggravating guy that has the hots for Jaime from the season one episode where they are in the plane crash.

This finishes off the first disc of season 2. I am going to TRY to watch this season a little slower then I did the first season. But I am enjoying the set so much I may just fly through this set as well. :P

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: October 20, 1976

Jaime's bionic listening skills are put to the test when she flies to the bustling Nashville music scene to investigate country legend Big Buck Buckley, who seems to be passing top-secret information through his songs.

My Thoughts:
Anyone that knows me at all already know I didn't care for this episode. While it did have it's moments.... mostly when Jaime was using her bionics...I had a hard time getting through this one. Way too much singing for my taste. Even at the very beginning and the very end of the episode when Jaime's students were singing in the classroom.... rehearsing for a talent show. If that isn't bad enough they made one of the kids completely tone deaf... so listening to her sing made it even worse.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: October 27, 1976

It's up to Jaime to protect Oscar when former scientist Dr. Franklin implants robotic secretaries (Fembots) at the OSI headquarters with commands to abduct the boss.

My Thoughts:
A good start to this 3 part episode. The next part originally aired on The Six Million Dollar Man... but thankfully they thought ahead enough to add the bonus of that episode so we have the entire storyline. Obviously, since this is a 3 episode storyline... this episode ends in a cliffhanger. So needless to say... I can't wait to go on to the next episode. But I do think it will have to wait till tomorrow. I am done for this evening.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: October 31, 1976

While Jaime fights for her life, Steve races to Dr. Franklin's compound to rescue Oscar and immediately finds himself caught in a precarious trap.

My Thoughts:
Great episode! This episode was originally an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man. Thankfully they added it to this set so that we get the entire storyline. While I loved every minute of this episode... I instantly knew where they were going with it. Not sure if it was because it was pretty obvious... because I just barely remember this episode from many years ago.... or a little of both. While this was an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man... Jaime Sommers still had a pretty big part in the episode. Mainly just from a hospital bed.... but she was there... and was helping as much as she could. Now I got to go watch the next episode... the final episode in this storyline.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: November 3, 1976

Dr. Franklin is seemingly impervious to attack with his stolen weather-control machine, but Jaime and Steve are determined to make one last desperate attempt to save their kidnapped colleagues.

My Thoughts:
Going into this one I was somehow remembering it wasn't as good as the first two parts. So I wasn't really expecting as much from this episode. My memory was slightly off... this episode wasn't quite as good as the last episode... but pretty much on par with the first part.  So I still enjoyed it very much. Over-all this three episode storyline was one of the best I have seen for this series. I really had a good time watching it again after many years!

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: November 10, 1976

An eerie bayou manor sets the scene for the reading of a wealthy inventor's last will as Jaime impersonates his long-lost relative in order to find out who is selling the dead man's secrets on the black market.

My Thoughts:
An episode of The Bionic Woman with guest star Vincent Price! Vincent Price is one of my favorite classic horror stars. So seeing him in an episode is very cool for me! And Vincent Price isn't the only familiar face in this episode. There is also Abe Vigoda and Julie Newmar. I must say I absolutely loved this episode! Oddly... I really don't remember anything about this one from when I watched this show as a kid. Normally some of the episode seems familiar. But not this time. Which probably added to my enjoyment since it actually felt like watching it for the first time. Anyway... this one has become one of my favorite episodes of the set.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: November 24, 1976

Disguised as a nun Jaime infiltrates a secretive convent with a mission to seek out who amongst the sisters is trading a fortune in industrial diamonds.

My Thoughts:
This is a good episode. A fun watch. And I must admit... Jaime even looks good dressed as a nun! There really wasn't any familiar faces in this one. At least not familiar to me. It was fun seeing Jaime use her bionics to help do the chores so she could nose around. Having the other nuns thinking she was performing some sort of miracles.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: December 1, 1976

A routine refueling stop becomes something much more deadly when Jaime and Michael Marchetti discover a seemingly abandoned island military base with everything left running.

My Thoughts:
Another episode I really enjoyed. Had a real Invasion of the Body Snatchers feel to it. But instead of pods cloning you it has a basic life-form found on a meteor taking over people mind to help it survive  through some sort of sound waves. I also liked that it happens on an island that is deserted other then the army base.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: December 15, 1976

When Oscar finds evidence of a major plot by foreign agents, he sends Jaime undercover as a police academy cadet to expose which of her classmates is working as an enemy operative.

My Thoughts:
I have been looking forward to this one. It is one of the very few episodes I remember seeing years ago. This is a two part storyline that continues into the next episode. But at the same time... remembering the episode so well also meant I remembered instantly who the foreign agent was. Which is a bit disappointing since it has been so many years since I seen it. But I still enjoyed the episode very much.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: December 22, 1976

Jamie and her police academy roommate are assigned to a precinct where an enemy agent is posing as a file clerk and plotting to kidnap a visiting diplomat.

My Thoughts:
Going into this one I didn't remember as much about it as I did the first part. Which helped in a little extra enjoyment for me. This one is a good conclusion to the previous episode. The foreign agent is played by Rebecca Balding. When I saw her names in the credits over the last 2 episodes I kept thinking I know that name... but just couldn't place it. After the episode was over I looked to see who she is. Turns out I knew her from the TV Series Charmed... she played Phoebe's boss Elise. Wow! She really changed over the years... no wonder I didn't recognize her.

Bionic Woman: Season 2

Original Airdate: January 12, 1977

A cryptographer who has perfected a coding analyzer is furious when his research funds are cut... and dangerously jealous of his scientist-brother's financial success.

My Thoughts:
This episode is pretty good... though not quite as good as the previous ones I have been watching. It is basically about a guy that can use an advanced form of meditation to do some amazing things. He ends up following Jaime on a case involving his brother. Using these abilities in the case. After the episode I listened to some of the commentary track as well. Listened to enough to find out that the idea for this story came from Lindsay Wagner herself (who does the commentary)... as she herself has been huge into meditation.
