2010 October Horror Marathon (Discussion thread)
« on: September 24, 2010, 08:49:14 PM »

It's almost that time of the year where we will all go in crazy horror mode, so with just one more week to go I feel it's the time to open the thread.

Most of us knew that already but since we have many new members, this one doesn't have rules except that you need to watch horror theme dvd (of course it's quite obvious :P). It isn't important if you watch 1 or 100 movies (or TV show episodes or documentaries). what is important is that you have a lot of fun during this month and don't forget you are the one who decide what is horror for you (whatever it's Night of the Living Dead or Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or The Creeping Terror, you decide).

This thread is for the discussion and for the reviews of those who don't want to create their own thread.

Hope to see many of you doing it again this year.

Yeah... like I could do that!

I am going to do things a little differently this year... where I try to stay within themes each day. I will have some themes where I could watch any horror that day like Anything Goes or Unwatched DVDs... but I plan to keeping those days to a minimum as much as possible. Though I am pretty sure October 1st will be one of those days. Don't want to limit myself on the very first day!  :P

I will do it like I did 2 years ago and certainly not like last year, since watching cheap DTV films only isn't fun. So it will be any films I feel like watching whatever It's a classic, an old B/W, a new movie, a comedy, an unknown gem or a piece of crap (don't really had a choice since I must watch 3 choose by you and I'm sure none of them will be Hellraiser or Evil Dead).

This will be the first time I've taken part in the horror marathon.  I'll mostly go for the older stuff, though, and not-too-graphic stuff.  No "Colonoscopy From Hell" for me  ::)

You don't really had a choice, you got a lot of Monster Legacy Set recently ;D

Maybe I will rewatch my older movie (Faust) if I feel like it in my marathon
