My Thoughts:
As much as I enjoyed the case... and it was a pretty good one. I found myself once again more interested in the side story of Hodgins and Angela. I also like the whole thing they started with Zach in this one as well.

This is where it started to go wrong for me. Still haven't seen season 4, but it was a great arc that was rushed. Really, really odd short season.

1. Widow's Son in the Windshield

My Thoughts:
I been looking forward to checking out this season again... as I always liked the whole Gormogon storyline. And I absolutely loved every second of this first episode of the season. It kept my interest 100%. This is the 3rd time I seen it... and it lost nothing after the multiple viewings.

This is where it started to go wrong for me. Still haven't seen season 4, but it was a great arc that was rushed. Really, really odd short season.

Yeah it was rushed... and short. That I imagine was due to the writer's strike at the time. But even so it remains my favorite season to date.

It was the writer's strike that made it short.  All the shows had shorter seasons that year. 
Things in the third season didn't bother me too much.  Season 4 bugged me more..and some things in season 5 too.

Bones: Season 3

2. Soccer Mom in the Mini-Van
Air Date: 10/2/07
The explosive murder of a suburban mom seems to stem from her radical past. Meanwhile, Brennan struggles with her feelings as she visits her father in prison.

Not a bad episode... but not what I would call a favorite either. I didn't care too much about the main case they were working on. Plus they did very little to continue on with the Gormogon storyline.

Bones: Season 3

3. Death in the Saddle
Air Date: 10/9/07
Things are bound to get weird when an investigation leads to a lodge specializing in sexual horseplay. Elsewhere, hypnotherapy leads to a breakthrough in the ongoing hunt for Angela's husband.

My Thoughts:
Another episode that didn't impress me all that much. I really didn't care for the main case. They did nothing to advance the Gormogon storyline. The one thing I did like about this one was the advancement in the storyline of Hodgins and Angela.

4. The Secret in the Soil

Booth and Brennan must undergo psychiatric evaluation as they investigate the charred remains of the owner of a chain of organic supermarkets.

My Thoughts:
A good episode... I thought the case they worked on in this one was interesting. I would have liked to seen more of a mention of the case from the pilot. But in this one all they did is question if this one could be part of it since it seemed the victim was cooked.

5. The Mummy in the Maze

With Halloween rapidly approaching, the mummified remains of two young girls lead the team through a twisted maze of creepy clues.

My Thoughts:
Of course I loved this episode. Halloween episodes of TV Shows has almost always been my favorite episodes. And this one is no different. It was a lot of fun. And I must say... Brennan looked great as Wonder Woman... as did Camille looked great as Cat Woman. Not that Angela looked bad as a Show Girl of course!

6. Intern in the Incinerator

The Jeffersonian Institute is thrown into turmoil when one of its promising interns is murdered in what appears to be an inside job.

A body is found when a high school time capsule from 1987 is unearthed, and the investigation focuses on the victim's classmates.

This is a right good episode. I liked the case they were working on. In this episode they didn't do too much with either side storyline... the Gormogan case or Angela and Hodgin's wedding.

I imagine this is because of the writer's strike... but the Christmas episode came pretty early the year this one came out. Airing at the end of November. It is a fun episode... I had to laugh at how Caroline (The Assistant US Attorney) made Booth and Brennan kiss under mistletoe in order to do a favor for them.
