Bones: Season 2

Patricia Belcher as Asst. US Attorney Caroline Julian
Roxanne Hart as Cynthia Cole

As much as I enjoyed the case... and it was a pretty good one. I found myself once again more interested in the side story of Hodgins and Angela. I also like the whole thing they started with Zach in this one as well.

This is where it started to go wrong for me. Still haven't seen season 4, but it was a great arc that was rushed. Really, really odd short season.

Bones: Season 3

1. Widow's Son in the Windshield
Air Date: 9/25/07
As Brennan searches for Zack's replacement, a human skull dropped from a highway overpass leads to the discovery of a bizarre, cannibalistic, secret society.

Guest Stars:
Patricia Belcher as Asst. U.S. Attorney Caroline Julian
Raphael Sbarge as Doug Doyley
Eugene Byrd as Clark Edison
Cynthia Preston as Amelia Trattner
Andrew James Allen as Jason Harkness

My Thoughts:
I been looking forward to checking out this season again... as I always liked the whole Gormogon storyline. And I absolutely loved every second of this first episode of the season. It kept my interest 100%. This is the 3rd time I seen it... and it lost nothing after the multiple viewings.

Yeah it was rushed... and short. That I imagine was due to the writer's strike at the time. But even so it remains my favorite season to date.

It was the writer's strike that made it short.  All the shows had shorter seasons that year.
Things in the third season didn't bother me too much.  Season 4 bugged me more..and some things in season 5 too.

Bones: Season 3

2. Soccer Mom in the Mini-Van
Air Date: 10/2/07
The explosive murder of a suburban mom seems to stem from her radical past. Meanwhile, Brennan struggles with her feelings as she visits her father in prison.

Guest Stars:
Ryan O'Neal as Max Keenan
Patricia Belcher as Asst. U.S. Attorney Caroline Julian
Deborah Zoe as Special Agent Katherine Frost
Erich Anderson as Jeremy Nash

Not a bad episode... but not what I would call a favorite either. I didn't care too much about the main case they were working on. Plus they did very little to continue on with the Gormogon storyline.

Guest Stars:
Michael Cudlitz as Lucky

Anne-Marie Johnson as Dr. Jasper

My Thoughts:
Another episode that didn't impress me all that much. I really didn't care for the main case. They did nothing to advance the Gormogon storyline. The one thing I did like about this one was the advancement in the storyline of Hodgins and Angela.

Bones: Season 3

Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Erin Chambers as Kat Curtis

My Thoughts:
A good episode... I thought the case they worked on in this one was interesting. I would have liked to seen more of a mention of the case from the pilot. But in this one all they did is question if this one could be part of it since it seemed the victim was cooked.

Of course I loved this episode. Halloween episodes of TV Shows has almost always been my favorite episodes. And this one is no different. It was a lot of fun. And I must say... Brennan looked great as Wonder Woman... as did Camille looked great as Cat Woman. Not that Angela looked bad as a Show Girl of course!

The BBC report on attempts to identify bodies found on railway tracks over the past 35 years. There's a comment about a lady who is probably the real-life equivalent of Angela, when you strip away all the shows hype...

Bones: Season 3

9. The Santa in the Slush
Air Date: 11/27/07
It's up to Bones to save Christmas when the body of a shopping mall Santa named Kris Kringle seems to be the real McCoy.

Guest Stars:
John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets
Ryan O'Neal as Max Keenan
Patricia Belcher as Assistant U.S. Attorney Caroline Julian
David DeLuise as Santa Jeff Mantell
Reginald VelJohnson as Dale Owens

My Thoughts:
I imagine this is because of the writer's strike... but the Christmas episode came pretty early the year this one came out. Airing at the end of November. It is a fun episode... I had to laugh at how Caroline (The Assistant US Attorney) made Booth and Brennan kiss under mistletoe in order to do a favor for them.
