I manage to get Blu-ray titles for a decent price.
The one I received yesterday was only $12.

Be sure and check out amazon.com during the holidays and using "lightning deals". I bought a bunch of Blu-ray DVDs for my mom for Christmas.

Here's a few I bought for her and what they cost:
- The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3: $4.99
- Man Men Seasons, 1, 2 and 3: $9.99 each
- Kick-Ass (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy): $9.99
- The Hurt Locker: $4.99

My Blu-ray collection is still in its infancy.  I have exactly 16 titles now, Watchmen being the most recent.  I have pre-ordered the new True Grit in that format though its release date has not yet been announced.  So I don't know when I might get it.  Because of more recent physical problems, I probably won't be able to see it in the theater.

I'll have to check and see how many Blu-rays I have now.  I got my Blu-ray player last...May I think it was.  I've been getting mostly Blu-rays since then..at least for newer movies.  I get them on sale.  Several have been $10.  I still get cheap DVDs when I find some I want that I can't get on Blu.

I started to add Blu- rays to my collection about one year ago! Today I own about 120 Blu-rays but the majority of my collection are still DVD's.

Looks like Fast Eddie and I are both going to be tied in Blu-Rays as I have 16 now with 3 more on the way (I've just been e-mailed they're on the way) so we'll both have 19 soon.  I think the next couple I order should be westerns, though...I'd like to keep about 50% of my Blu-ray collection devoted to westerns but I don't know that there are that many devoted to that genre...  :P
