Profiler Question
« on: June 24, 2010, 08:38:50 AM »
I have a question about DVD Profiler that I haven't been able to figure out.  I did try looking in help...which was less than helpful.  I figured I would ask here since Jimmy was nice enough to tell how to fix the watch dates I had messed up.

How do you see who contributed a profile once you downloaded it?  I've seen people mention checking that and I just wondered how to do it.
Also...once you have the profile, can you see the contribution notes too?

In the General tab there's an icon that looks like a brown DVD with two people before it. When you click on that you'll see who contributed images and profile and you can also open the contrib notes.

Found it...it is basically hidden with the layout I've been using.

Talking of icons, what this one is supposed to be?

It shows whether a profile has been excluded or not. You can exclude profiles from uploading to your online list, or from syncing with Profiler Mobile, etc.

OK I don't use that and I was really searching the goal of an icon if it is never highlighted. Thanks!

Is there any boxes you can tick in Profiler, so that when you add a multi-film or tv series boxset it automatically adds the child profiles but doesn't assign them a number?

I don't believe so... would be nice to have though as I always want the child profiles... and never give the child profiles a number. I also always set child profiles to count as 0.

Good reminder. So far all I did was set Box Sets to 0. May want to set TV children to 0 and profiles with multiple items to X still.

On the other hand, I am in no rush. Thanks to this forum I am more into watching them than profiling them
