I'm toying with a new format for my list (using images instead of just titles), but I have a
N/M that, I just realised how much of an upkeep nightmare it'd be!
I'm still curious to know how many images do you see on a single line though? (I see 7 before it cuts to a second line for the last 3)

I am at work and see 5 as well (1280x800). At home I'd probably see 9-10.

Achim - I pinned the thread and took the liberty of renaming it to make it fit better with the discussion thread. Hope you don't mind...
Of course I don't mind, I was a bit lazy before and just copied Rich's thread titles from last year. :bag: I had briefly considered renaming one of them, then somehow got over that.

BTW, very much liking the way you do the table layout! Much more workable like this comapred to a design where each table row is on one line. I will adopt that for my What Ya Got posts as well. Thanks for pinning it.

I'd guess you are using 1024x768 then... ;)

So 4 is probably the max I could go to.. 1024x768.. who the heck still uses that archaic resolution?  :hysterical: :tease:

Well, at least it's better than my dad's 1366x768 - what kind of an half-assed resolution is that? (yeah yeah I know it's a widescreen extension of the standard 1024x768 resolution.. but still!)

I'm running at 1680x1050 (which is not much better! why the heck 1050px high? Just to piss me off that I can't get 1080 on it? To force me to run my 360 at 720px instead of 1080px?)

I had a colleague (until last month) who had terrible eye sight and she used 800x600 :-\

I think you know that the difference is, that TVs are 16:9 while computer screens are 16:10. You also are aware that for FULL HD you should have 1920x1080, so those 30px vertically are not the only problem. So, I won't tell you, because you already know.

BTW; I have 1920x1200 at home (on a 24" screen).

I still don't have any "Z" feature films, though...  :tv:
Don't worry, just use something with Z in the title. I'll do the same for X, probably, maybe for Z as well. I have Y covered with Yojimbo from my unwatched pile :D

I have no where near enough DVD's to cover every letter in the alphabet. Maybe next year...

You could always do as many as you can.  It's not like we'll kick you out or something. :)

4 by lines for me, but you will kill my internet if you list a cover for the # and all the letters from a to z since I'm on a modem connection

Sophie the letter doesn't have to be first one if you don't own a film beginning with each letters.

I hope that we will do it in november also, since I can't this time and it's a tradition
