That article was pretty hilarious, and just confirms my suspicions that he has removed the heart from the cartoon in his film translation. Hmm, I'm thinking more and more about just giving this one a miss and rewatching the cartoon again.

Just saw the review of the movie in today's newspaper, I didn't read it because I don't want reviews to taint my view of the movie, but title of the review says a lot:
"The Master of Boredom" (liberal translation of: "Le MaƮtre de l'Ennui")
